On the Muschamp to USC deal. Imagine Muschamp helping lead day to day stuff while Spurrier does his golf and whips ass on game day. I'm going to go on record and say they very well could ruin some seasons and legitamitely contend for the East. I also imagine the UF USC game becoming an epic blood bath yearly.

I don't like Muschamp training under Spurrier either. He was a bad HC but he could learn and get better. Bleh.

Not sure where the info came from...so TIFWIW

A guy I work with, who has some connections at SCjr, said that Auburn's offer to Muschamp is $1.6mil. That is some serious "I want to beat Alabama" right there!

Good. I hope he goes. Malzhan and Muschamp would be a sick nasty combo. That's like Phil and Mike good.

Why?

Florida is a top 5 job. UT is 10-20 (not really in the 10 range though IMO).

If I'm the CEO the 15th ranked Hospital in Middle Tennessee, I would expect the CEO of the 5th ranked to be paid more.

Top 2 if you look at seats occupied. Also Butch has leverage with UM looking.

I dunno if many share this opinion but in my view the top 20ish programs are interchangeable based on whatever is going on at the moment. Right now, Alabama might be the #1 job in college football. But back in the early 2000's it was prob the #20 job.

I wouldn't put Florida in the top 5, at the moment. When Urban Meyer left, I would have.

UT fans should want as strong an Auburn as possible. Beat on Alabama and drive Saban crazy. Give UGA the same type of challenge as us and AL.

That too. And as much as the one SEC coach he has beaten twice...

Spurrier is at 4. That is where Butch lands imo.
