People swore Crowder sucked. Said he was the worst. Now I hear losing him hurt tremendously. I'm going to go out on a limb and say there is a whole lot of bad juju on that offense. Dobbs had his worst night. Worst by a lot. Lost Hurd. So many recievers gone. 0 continuity at nearly any position from week one to final week.

Next year!

I hope

Agree with everything you said afterwards, but on a site with several thousand subscribers it's not all that surprising that there would be differing opinions on Crowder.

He's not the best center we've had lately, for sure, but he's the best one we've got right now.

The OL was looking better with Dobbs for a few games and then the last two weeks they've gone back to Ole Miss form.

With Missouri you could say "well they just have a great DL." Can't say that about Vandy.

Novick and Salako have good size. They're both tackles right? Wouldn't mind picking one of them up if they can play.

I think think I read that Salako is their best OL. He has started 23 of 24 games in his career. UAB was a good rushing offense this year. Their RB had 1500 yards.

Hey fellas, I don't follow recruiting as much during the season but now in this off time I delve deeper into it. I have a quick question. I know we still need an offensive tackle for sure but what other positions are in real need and who are some prospects? I see the Kirkland kid picking up steam. Also, do we need to get some more guys in the secondary? I'll hang up and listen

I'm no guru nor do I follow extremely close.. But it looks to be a numbers game the rest of the way until NSD.

We have some good recruits in the secondary coming in with Abernathy, Bruce, Perry, Miller and Griffin. Might add another before it is all said and done.

Personally.. I think our OL recruits look good. Jack Jones could make the move out to be a really good right tackle. Stewart looks to be guard all the way. Haven't looked into Hall or Boulware much. Could add a JUCO here.

I see us making a move for a playmaker on offense Newsome and Love .. Really want Kirkland at LB .

Then we always looking to flip some other commits .. Maybe Jefferson or Richmond ..

I found this confirming he is their LT. This would be a great pickup imo. He has the size and experience. He may not be all world but he sure would be serviceable.

The offensive line returns three starters and adds in five Junior College players to help bolster the depth. Left tackle Victor Salako started 11 games last season as a redshirt freshman.

Thank you. Didn't realize we had so many commits in the secondary. I think we will be improved at every position on D except MLB.

I'm pretty sure Riyahd won't be back. Maybe they are getting him a redshirt so he can play one final year somewhere else. He was announced with the seniors on senior night against Mizzou, like Orta was.

I thought this dude was going to be special when he signed with UT. Never seen anyone with footwork like he has. Just goes to show that recruiting is a crap shoot. Look no further than Sutton. He's all world for us and was a 3 star---- go figure.

Who is happy that our coaching staff is being retained and not evolved in this coaching carousel.

I don't know, most people around here are hoping that Mahoney will evolve into Sam Pittman. :)

Crowder hasn't played very good, but I always felt like he was playing because he was our only linemen who could snap the ball. Now we know that is true. Wiesman is a guard, not a center. But even though Crowder played poorly, he was far better at both snapping and blocking than Wiesman.

Lol Mason already sacrificing lambs. Or in this case sheep. That rarely happens in year one.

Mason might as well quit and go be DC somewhere like TX AM. He fired his OC after year 1.

Brett Maxie the DB coach is trying to leave to get back in NFL which everyone knew he wouldn't stay more than a year anyway(Mason is an idiot for hiring a one yr coach knowing he wasn't going to attempt to recruit).

Mason is also rumored to be overhauling his S&C staff.

Can you say.... In over his head?

Don't understand the hate for Mason, I think he is a great coach for the commode doors.
