Just said on College Football Live that it would be
Trooper, Greg Adkins, or Gus Malzon for OC.

His opinion only.....read other threads related to this.... not a definite....and the Chaos continues

I am sure MH and CPF were on the phone with him this morning asking his advice.... this is speculation only on Jim's part.... He would wish for this and would say it so that others would not inquire about the position....

The coaches ESPN has hired... (just a few, not all)

1. Lee Corso

2. Lou Holtz

3. Jim Donnan

And people wonder why ESPN isn't well thought of.

Notice he's not high profile either. He makes the rounds peddling his snake oil. You get the same result as well.

You're going to have some people argue with you about Madden.
Anyone who wants to argue that a guy with one of the top career winning percentages in the history of the NFL wasn't a top notch coach is more than welcome to make a fool of themselves.

I'n neither for or against Madden, I could care less either way... that being said he's in the Hall because of his tv career, not his coaching.

Similar to those that argue that Phil Fulmer isn't a good coach despite his winning percentage?

Bill Cowher, Jimmy Johnson. Bill Parcells, Al McGwire, John Madden.

I thought it was apparent I was referring to college football. Anyway, those guys all retired under good circumstances. Is Al McGuire still alive?

Well if he were, he'd be a considerably better coach than the Donnan, Corso, or Holtz. Holtz I suppose is pretty good in comparison to the other two, but the trail of trouble he's left behind has never sat well with me.
