Looks like at least a step in the right direction. Much rather read something like that vs the Richmond visit and recruits talking about guys UT is pushing for talking up other programs and trying to recruit them elsewhere.

Phillips would be a great pick up if the UT coaches can make it happen.

Still waiting it out with Kirkland to see what he does visit wise.

I know you have an agenda here as well, but helping spread rumors is low, even for you. You know exactly where the the rumor of Richmond recruiting players to OM came from. One caller on a radio show claiming it happened is hardly evidence.

Indianapolis (Ind.) Lawrence Central four-star linebacker Darrin Kirkland Jr. came off his third official visit of the process this past weekend to Tennessee. Kirland was definitely energetic about his time in Tennessee and the possibility of playing for the Volunteers. Two more official visits will be taken to Texas and USC in December before he announces his commitment on Jan. 3 and enrolls mid-year. Earlier official visits to Ole Miss and Oklahoma also went well and those teams certainly remain in contention, but Tennessee appears to have the most momentum in this recruitment right now.

In a video posted on VQ, Fortenberry hinted that Kirkland may not take those final visits to Texas or USC and that "Tennessee is in the driver's seat."
