For all of Mizzou's struggles with penalities, at least their offensive plan includes the play-calling/ability to THROW THE BALL DOWNFIELD.

Please, please, someone from our illustrious QB past come back and teach Dobbs how to throw a ball downfield. We will never have a respected Offense without that capability.

Plays being called right now are similar to the florida game. They are not throwing the ball down field in an attempt to mitigate the offensive line problems. Unfortunately, that is only encouraging the defense to sneak up closer to the line and bust those run plays and short passes up.

And now that we have thrown it down field a couple of times, Pig can't come down with it and Malone has it bounce off his hands. Sad to watch.

Seriously the worse case scenario here is we lost to a top 20 team who is going to the sec championship game. They have a very good defense. They're not that bad whether some on here want to admit it. We still have Vandy next week. We will finish 6-6 right where most people picked us to be. And many said we wouldn't do that well.

We had plenty of chances tonight. Too many possessions that started in their end of the field with no points. Offense got shown for what it is...smoke and mirrors. Defense tried, but not yet there.

Offensively, we were not ready. Team did not show any fire, seemed like Dobbs was in the pocket too much, when he should have been playing on the edge with run/pass options. I-line regressed back to how they were playing when Worley was playing.

I really do not feel we were playing with the same game plan we had last two weeks. Hopefully we can regroup and get our 6th win. But it does totally piss me off how we can make poor QBs have career passing days...
