Even More Obamacare Follies

<sigh>

As I've stated before and time and time again. The majority of people wanted health care reform and felt it was needed. This has never been a point I've argued or disagreed with.

Bu the majority of people did NOT want the package it came in. I.E. the ACA.

And the further we get into this debacle, the more people are finding they rally didn't want what we got.

I think when it was first passed the majority of people did want this.

They wanted what he was selling not what he delivered. There is a definite distinction.

I agree that there are many things in the bill I don't like. But I've never been a scan of abolishing it. Merely amending/rewriting it.

You don't repair a total wreck, you replace it. ACA is a catastrophic wreck that cannot be amended or fixed.

It was deigned to fail from the get go.

What do you propose? It's written under the premise that people that don't need insurance is forced to buy it but not use it in order to fund it for the poor, lazy, and old.

So the poor and old shouldn't have medical coverage?

It has a lot of great things in it. Increased competition within states and the inability to deny coverage based on preexisting conditions are two of them.

47% of whom will never be expected to pay for it, even if they are making $15/hour at MacDonald's.

8188 knows he has lost the debate. That is why he went back to the refrain attempted before GV answered. Everyone knows the difference betwen the reform (vaguely defined and supported) with the law (well defined and rejected).

What?

Like the number of people who voted for the guy who said he would do this?

In 2008 61.6% of eligible voters voted in the 2008 elections of that of that Obama received 52.93%.

In no way are these numbers a mandate for ACA.

Sure. If they pay for it. Maybe you libs can open up some clinics funded with you guys money.

Do you feel the same about justice as well? Should the police department only respond to people who can afford it? What about the fire department?
