Even More Obamacare Follies

Despite his recent claim that Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber was just “some adviser who never worked on our staff,” President Obama said in 2006 that he had “stolen ideas” from Gruber “liberally.”

Obama: I Have Stolen Ideas from Jon Gruber Liberally - YouTube

What did this Country expect when 52% of us (not me) drank the kool-aid that the Press were feeding us about this man. The thing I remember most is how this man came out of nowhere in 2006. He gave a decent speech at the DNC and all of a sudden he is the next JFK and that will save our Country! I think he only served two years in the Senate and had no real accomplishments there and he managed to convince 52% of Americans to vote for him. What was really frightening was he convinced those same 52% of Americans to vote for him a 2nd time despite the economy being in the crapper, unemployment over 8% (really 17%) most of his promises unfilled and war in Iraq still, Fast & Furious, Benghazi. Amazing!

It's like I've always said, he's a prolific liar. Not only did Barry sit in meetings with this pos, he was paid over 400k for his efforts. How many times has Barry said he just found out and is outraged over the accusations..gtfo

What is it when you describe its components but don't put the name on it?

Like 70- 80 pct approval?

Some of the components but it's not just some components is it?

That's like saying are you in favor of Saddam Hussein not being in power is the same as saying you supported the Iraq War...

It polls different when you tell people that their insurance plan won't change, they can keep their current physicians, and it will cost about the same as their monthly cell phone bill. Of course those were all lies for the MAJORITY of Americas who were already insured and happy with their coverage.

It's off the charts to those who get Santa Claus insurance.

That's the utopia that was sold. Obamacare is the reality.

Some people get free phones. Smart phones at that.

We received a letter from our provider yesterday, our insurance is being increased $174 per month, that puts Granny's and my premium over $1000 per month.

This is where LG comes in to say that it is literally impossible to compare since we have no clue what your old plan looked like. You'll have to post all of your insurance information and policy online in order for him to investigate and find why you are comparing apples to oranges.

Honestly, though, You're lucky. Could have been much worse. It could have tripled like many here in Georgia.

In ten years, you will look back on that premium and consider it a bargain.

Are you still in support of the ACA?

I don't think Gramps ever was.

I am in the "Something needs to be done to healthcare " group. While the ACA fixed a few problems, it has caused more problems than it has fixed. I have always stated the ACA needs to be tweaked/fixed. I still think there can be some major changes made to it but neither side is willing to sit down and actually work on it. I do not see that happening. In order for the ACA to work all 50 states are going to have to participate in it. They will not in it's current state. It needs to be repealed, start over with something that will work and keep a few of the good things it does do.

I believe he is in the "something had to be done to fix healthcare" crowd. But his representatives didn't vote for it.

My Representative, Phil Roe, did not vote for it , but I did vote to reelect him and Lamar. Haslam did not participate in the ACA expansion, I also voted for him to be reelected.

I think we are headed fast to a single payer system.
