Ferguson Riots

Sounds like Governor Nixon is going to bend over for the scum who will be rioting

Not sure I got that from the press conference. The way I took it was that law and order will be maintained with force if necessary. I actually got the impression that the state has drawn a line in the sand and thrown the gauntlet to the protesters.

So i guess in your would you let the arch-criminals who'll be rioting assault you or worse and break into your home and take what they want.

I mean he does advocate Liability for stolen guns not secured in the deepest crevices of the 9th circle of hell.

Yeah but the overall mentality of the presser was that of, "law and order will be maintained" and not conceding to the protesters. Anyways I felt this was kinda fitting;

"Tin soldiers and Nixon's coming..."

I saw this. I found the comment about buying a bigger gun because it had a bigger magazine in case there was "a John Wayne shootout" a particularly damning comment for you NRA types.

The ridiculous overly romanticized vision people have of shooting someone, like in the movies, is far and away the biggest reason we have the gun disaster we have in this country.

It is not, I repeat NOT, glamorous to shoot and kill someone.

If reckless inference were a superpower you could take out Thor and Hulk at the same time. Did you just see the name John Wayne and write a whole dialogue in your head? Maybe try to get over whatever lameass pavlovian response you had to the John Wayne reference and read everything attributed to Mr McMullen, like this:

McCullen warns others considering getting a gun not to be reckless. When his adult son told him he wanted a gun to protect himself after the grand jury decision, McMullen warned him not to rush into it.
"People like him need to think about it, and not think about 'I'm worried about this stuff,' " McMullen says.
Magazine capacity in the context being used is nothing more than idea of (possibly) having to engage numerous hostiles. In that context there's nothing particularly odd about what was said.

Agree with the last sentence but am wondering how you would know.

I don't know why y'all reply to LG. All he is, is a spineless coward. He's the victim type. Would rather hide in a corner and hope the bad people don't get him. The man who would be completely helpless if anything happened.

He has his moments and can be a shill at times but he seems like an alright person when not talking politics or football.

His bodyguards would probably take care of the situation:thumbsup:

Actually true. That is why most drivebys and hood shootings miss their intended targets. Too many rap videos and Spike Lee movies.
