Top 10? Ehhh

Florida
Florida State
Miami
Alabama
Michigan
Ohio State
Texas
Oklahoma
USC
LSU

Then it's either Penn State or Tennessee, I guess. Nebraska, even with the recent crap, is probably better than Tennessee. UT is top 15.

I'd put Notre Dane in the Top 10 despite recent woes. (Write this down: In three years or less, Urban Meyer will bolt UF for ND).

Almost, but didn't keep Petrino with ATL, or Saban anywhere he's been recently...

To many people's opinions are clouded by tradition too old for present day players to care anything about. The quality of a job comes mostly from the money the school generates (from game day, attire, donors), fan base, facilities, and in-state talent. I would say those are the biggest factors. Along with the quality of the athletic administration.

The quality of the UT job is probably lower because the Vols have so many jaded and spoiled fans.

If any other guy came in dying to be the UT coach with a 75%+ winning percentage, one of the top 5 recruiters in the country, and a NC on his resume... You'd be foaming at the mouth... Instead you're salivating at the idea of getting rid of that coach.

I doubt Petrino will be at Ark by the time they hit UT's schedule again... and also that he'll ever take them to Atlanta... So he more than likely will still have a 0-0 record against CPF when they run him out of Arkansas.

Uh, like Michigan this year and Miami last year?:whistling:

Somewhat but not exactly... Mich isn't having alot of success even replacing Carr... and what exactly has Miami done in spite of being in possibly the greatest concentration of HS football talent in the country?

To the genius who says UT accomplished so much more than LSU in the 70s and 80s, count up SEC titles.

They tried to hire him already. He turned them down for the Gators. Notre Dame is stuck with Weis for a long time, now.

If things hold true to form, Charlie Weis will probably get a phone call from Arthur Blank in the next couple of days and the ND job will open up.

That'd be great. It'd be even better if Petrino then changed his mind and left for South Bend.

The only thing Miami has for it is location (near a ton of south Florida recruits). But heck, they now have to share them with USF and UCF along with FSU and UF.
They may have to share, but trust me, there are enough talented players to go around.

It may mean that instead of raking in 10 5* recruits every year, some of them become more 3 and 4*s, but with coaching, that difference is almost negligible.

Sure, parity in CFb is increasing, but there is a TON of talent in Florida to go around.
