Ferguson Riots

There’s a lot of fear. A lot of people are afraid of what could happen,” Johnson explained. “In the end, this is gonna be the community we have to live in.”
Ronardo Ward, 33, is one of those hoping to maintain peace in Ferguson if Wilson isn’t indicted.
“We are getting prepared for war,” Ward told CBS News. “And that’s just crazy.”

Anyway, back on topic. I hope cooler heads will prevail in all of this and Ferguson can rebuild and move on.

I wouldn't put money on cooler heads prevailing. You'll probably see rioters throwing things and fires. I hope it doesn't happen but i believe it very well could.

I don't see it. Both sides have pretty much moved beyond the point of reconciliation. Both the police and protesters are wanting this coming confrontation. It will set the area back years as trust lost is hard to regain. A, "Us vs Them" mentality has fully set in.

Do you think it'll spread far and wide to other cities or will it stay local?

This feels different than the Martin case. I'm expecting '65 Watts or '92 LA level type violence in the St. Louis area.

And you're actually in that area, correct? Perhaps the coverage locally has been different, but I feel like the GZ trial had far more national attention. We even had the idiots from the panthers putting a hit out for GZ.

The artic blast might keep things to a minimum, going to be awful cold up there later this week.

Yeah that's why I feel we'll get a decision this week. It's supposed to stay for awhile. Personally I would have waited till the January deadline to announce.
