This is the dumbest thing I've ever read. That would completely eliminate the veto and the checks and balance system.

Simply trying to change the law in order "to look good to the people" is saying something entirely different than saying they can easily overturn presidential veto's.
The fact is they cannot overturn a veto without several dems voting with the GOP. That will not be easily accomplished.

Why? Enemy combatants are enemy combatants and deserve to die no matter what their country of origin. Why on this earth would anybody want to be in Yemen in the first place? It's like hiking the Pakistani/Afghanistan border... is the Appalachian trail not good enough? You like the desert? Try Death Valley (Not the one in Baton Rouge either)


Take up arms against this country, I hope you burn to death.

Anybody pointing guns and pulling triggers with the intent to kill Americans in a defined hostile area. And you can further refine that by being an area where military personnel are getting combat pay. You shoot at a soldier, or are hanging out with people that are shooting at our guys, then you deserve to die if for nothing else than being stupid enough to do so.

People have to be accountable for their decisions. Killing azzholes that take up arms against this country is not a problem as far as I am concerned.
