Because Maggit is becoming harder and harder to take off the field. He's killing it right now. Weatherd has been playing a lot in 3-3-5 sets, but I expect Maggit to stay in more in those sets going forward.
Yep exactly. Maggitt is finally rounding into form and looking like the player we thought he could be as a freshman. Hopefully he can stay healthy for the rest of this year and next. If so I think he could have a special year next year, he is just so damn explosive coming off of the edge.
I think Weathered will get a lot more PT next year. He needed to bulk up a little and get stronger to be able to take on and shed blockers more effectively...he seems to get swallowed up from time to time imo. But when he does he's going to be a handful as an OLB and pass rusher as well. But when he does get free and flashes his potential you can see exactly why he was coveted by this staff and so many other big time programs.
