I'm not going to argue with you as I know there are tons of folks on this board who happen to agree with your statement.

But, like you stated, we're not SEC recruiters. And I'm convinced as interested as we are with the latest news, commitments and rumors, we really don't have a frigging clue what these coaches go through to get these kids to come on board...and to remain there.

No doubt. I think if you get to a level like Saban though you get a lot more flexibility saying gtfo with your troll ass until you come to your senses and want to be here.

Right, their offense is good. Defense, not good. Just about every QB has put up huge yards against that D. Like someone else said, I'd focus more on the Bama game, though I think a lot of that had to do with Bama just not being prepared for Dobbs and also being up really big already.

Time will tell though. Missouri will be the real test.

Yes, a 4 time national championship winning coach wasn't prepared for Josh Dobbs. That's why Dobbs excelled. I just choose to believe that he is a good quarterback. I agree on your last sentence though.

Not prepared for Dobbs? Saban? Not likely. First, they saw him for a full half last year. Second, Jones announced a couple days before the game that if Worley didn't play (which was a virtual certainty), that Peterman would start (which required no preparation on Bama's part) and Dobbs would play as well. Heard it myself on Thursday afternoon interview with The Zone in Nashville. There's zero chance that Bama didn't prepare for Dobbs. Zero.

Dobbs this year is clearly not the same as Dobbs last year. Much more confident in the offense and a much better runner with the ball, and also more likely to take off and run. I'm not saying Alabama didn't prepare for Dobbs, but I don't think they were prepared for what he could do. He surprised everyone, including the Alabama defense. That is partially a credit to Dobbs and how much he has progressed.

Calm down everyone. I think Dobbs looks great too. It's undeniable. I'll just be excited to see him go up against Missouri, and I hope he can keep performing at this high level. That's all.

Yea, it's almost like a full year in the system and a full offseason training program can actually make a player better.

Most noticeable to me is how much better his throws are. He looked like he was shot putting last year at times, but looks so crisp this year. Not quite a cannon of an arm, but plenty strong enough and much prettier throws this year.

Isn't Mizzou's offense pretty bad?

Mizzou passing offense:116th running offense: 68th

Given our success at stopping the run this year and we play them at home, I like our chances.

This is true. I've seen wayyy more orange in the past week than I have in the last 3 or 4 years no doubt.
