No need to freak out. VQ has said that Dobbs will get the "lion share" of the snaps on Saturday. They also said it's pretty likely that Worley's career at UT is finished.

The VQ guys were laughing about it yesterday.

On the first offensive play, I think we ought to pull a Bama late subsitution and run Worley out there first only to be substituted for by Dobbs once the line is set.

I really hope Dobbs is out there the whole time. This is really not a time to do Peterman experiments even for a few series, no matter how wonderful he is in practice.

Lol I'd agree with that. I can't tell when he's happy, sad, or pissed off because he says the same thing in every presser/media session.

I wonder what Dobbs 40 time is. He seems pretty quick to me, but he wasn't touted as a burner coming out of high school. He looks 1,000 times faster than Worley, though.

Also, Dobbs sheds tackles pretty well. If he packs on another 10 pounds of muscle before next season, he could be a beast running the ball.

OK, I do not know why but I just liked this upside down avi. I guess since I am not thread savvy so it appeals to me.

No way Jones leaves now. Not with back -to -back top 6 recruiting classes. Maybe later. Probably does want a raise though. Especially if we make a bowl. And he will get one.

It will be Dobbs. Unless he gets shook up no other QB sees the field.

But if we finish 5-7 again there's no way we can give him a raise/extension. Even if his name is being thrown around with that job.

Dobbs has been clocked anywhere from 4.6 to 4.94. His best shuttle is 4.3 that I could find. In an interview in Feb 2013 he said 4.6 was the best he had ever been clocked in the 40.

I do not think he should expect one with another 5-7 effort. I love what is happening in recruiting, bottom line is you have to win some games.

I will say this again. Butch is loved by his players and is a player's coach. He is going to soften the blow about Worley and won't talk bad about his QB's. It appears that he thinks he owes it to his players to continue the positive news about all of them. Just like his "best staff in the country" comment, I think folks need to quit trying to take him literally.
