Butch Jones is from Michigan.
Barbara Jones is from Michigan.

It would be foolish to think he wouldn't be slightly, if not extremely (more likely), interested in going home. You would all understandably do the same if you were coaching at Michigan and the Vols came calling.

I wouldn't see him leaving as the end of the world. But of course I don't get it, I'm not a fan, I don't understand the game, I'm a troll, etc....

Butch is 22-35 against teams at or above .500 at the time of playing, and 21-33 against teams that ended the season at .500 or above. Don't go out and give him a raise if Michigan decides they want him.

Most of those guys on my list won't win a press conference but they certainly show they can win on the field.

We will probably target a .500 highschool coach fro Rhode Island.

The Blue and Gold faithful are like many on this board..........looking for a quick fix and certain answer...How did that Rich Rod thing work out for ya...and then the "faithful" just had to get a MICHIGAN man.............that went well.
They were told to let RichRod have 4-5 yrs to get the players on campus to play his system. Watch what you could have been Zona.
The UT dumber than dirt sheep aren't far behind. They would fire CBJ tomorrow and go after some Coach who has land in E.TN I guess.....

Michigan won't come unless he wins out. I think 7-5 could get them to turn heads. Michigan has the same kind of administration we have - one that will not spend to get a uber coach, even if that coach is alum Jim Harbaugh. But they won't go trolling for Butch either unless he wins out.

Who cares honestly at this point. UT football will be fine if he stays or goes. He would be a dumb A for letting this go on for a long time though considering it could impact his recruiting efforts. Any coach that does not respond to these types of rumors is usually looking for another job imo....If Butch wants to be the next General Neyland then he needs to say he is here to stay for the long haul. To be honest, he has done nothing at this point on the field to deserve a raise. Wins and losses bro, wins and losses.

The Michigan fan base would go absolutely Chernobyl if this happened. And it would be justified. I like Butch a lot but other than recruiting he has accomplished nothing here yet.

I think only a very minor portion of the fan base would like that. However, the majority of fans are so tired of being crapped on that they wouldn't expect anything less.

Can't really see Michigan coming after Butch. Having a rough go currently in the SEC, comes from RichRod coaching tree. Just don't see it.
