USCe uses a lot of 4 WR sets. They also have a pretty decent TE. We all know about Davis and Wilds.

Nick Jones
Damiere Byrd
Pharaoh Cooper
Shaq Roland

^^ Those are all guys who are 6'0 or shorter that can stretch the field with their speed. Especially the first 3.

Their secondary is weak. I believe they are 13th in the SEC in defense. The middle of the field gets exposed in their defense. Auburn ran at will on them. Marquez North vs. Al Harris Jr is a matchup that Dobbs needs to take advantage of.

Their front 4 is pretty decent. JT Surratt is a run stuffing DT. He'll give Crowder fits. Skai Moore is a playmaker at LB. Need to identify where he is every snap. Lorenzo Ward has started letting Moore freelance a little more.

I want to see Pearson, North, Malone, and Croom run posts for days on these fools. Middle of the field is WIDE OPEN.

The part of the field we rarely ever use.

We attacked it more in the Bama game. Not enough but more. Wolf dropped 2 passes over the middle. Also had a catch over the middle. Pig had a huge 3rd down conversion on a post pattern, I believe.

I think if we establish success with Wolf early, Jake will utilize it more.

Agreed. We did attack it more last game. Wolf I still believe in. Had a bad game against a good opponent. Jitter bug was gettng to him. It happens.

"If you were an opposing offensive coordinator, should you bother calling a pass play against USC? The evidence says no. With five weekends left in the regular season, USC is last in the SEC in rushing defense (208.4 ypg) and is the only league team allowing greater than 200 yards per game on the ground."

"Auburn shredded the Gamecocks for 395 rushing yards, most by an opponent this season. and averaged 8.4 yards per rushing attempt."

This screams Dobbs all day long.

Dobbs makes this offense so much better just having to actually account for the QB.

Dobbs may throw less than 20 times but he and Hurd both should run for 100+.

We need pressure on their QB in a bad way. If Thompson has all day in the pocket, he could do damage through the air & with his legs.

I see this game plays out much like last year. Hold on to your seats, cause it's going to be a barn burner.

"Worley's health remains something of a mystery, and as a senior, if he shows he's recovered he deserves a chance to play. Nonetheless, there's no real expectation that Worley will play this week and it's unlikely Worley can rehab the injured shoulder enough to return this season."

VQ needs to get with the program, the script is we have no idea who is starting so they have to prepare for multiple qb's.

I usually have a really positive outlook, but this game scares me a little as it's a road game. Outside of UK, Vandy, and a bad Ole Miss team, we don't have a good road record. This fact leads me to be in a wait and see mode on the game. I'm not saying we win or lose, I just need to see us beat a team that's not named Vandy or UK on the road to predict a win.

Not to break anyones spirit because i believe as long as we keep CBJ we will have our coming out year 10 or 11 win season next year but i think based on how the performances are i say you never can tell which team comes out there are too many variables and way too many freshman out there on the field i see this game going to the Game cocks and Thompson plays mediocre at best but moves the ball and then expectations are tempered.

Should mean we're due for one...
