Here's the quote from Bama DB Landon Collins
"It was a different quarterback than we were expecting. We had to adjust our calls and then expected more runs."
And Dobbs still had big runs in the 2nd half.
Agreed. I think it was Finebaum the other day that said something along the lines of "Why would he go to that situation in Michigan when he's about to pull back to back top 5 classes at Tennessee and not even have the chance to coach them yet?"

So Collins is trying to tell us all that both UT and BAMA fans expected to see Dobbs but he didn't? We fans must be amazing to have that info. ahead of Kirby Smart and Saban. You'd think one of the Bama fans that knew would've told them.lol:
No way he's one of the first guys contacted about that job.
What will Michigan's reasoning be if he's hired? He can recruit well & he's from Michigan? Naw don't see it. They'll want a proven winner.
Jones is playing the QB situation perfectly.
He know Dobbs will start. But he wants teams to split preparation and not just focus on Dobbs.
Dobbs is still a bit of an unknown and with more game tape he will be easier to game plan against.
Dobbs will start but you won't hear CBJ confirm it any time soon.
