Isn't it weird how other teams constantly take much better teams to the wire every week....and yet we just get blown out as expected 99 percent of the time?

Is this site lagging for anyone else? I just got a new phone and I'm using it and the site is really slow. I'm not sure if it's the phone, or if the site is overloaded because of the game.

This is my last post for a while. I've lost the ability to be positive. I'm tired of excuses. I'm tired of 'inferior' programs performing better than us. I'm tired of 'next year'. This coaching staff has burned through all my goodwill. They say all the right things. They recruit extraordinarily well. Yet we still always lose close games (at best) or get embarrassed (at worst). Our rivals have kicked our ass for so long, they no longer care about us. We are the living, breathing definition of an afterthought.

I'll always be a UT fan. If I avoid this forum, I won't have to listen to all the excuses. I can watch the games and track their progress from the periphery. I'm too emotionally involved at this point.

Go Vols.

You watch UT every week. The teams taking others to the wire are not always the same teams.

It's Dooley-esque.

Jones IS Dooley right now except he's a nice guy and a great recruiter. But none of that matters if he can't even field a competitive team.

You are who you are on the field. And right now we're a terrible football team with questionable coaching.

I've said this since 2008. I'm still here because at the end of the day, I can't stay away. There's just something about the fan base, game day and tradition that gets me pumped. We have played retarded though.

I didn't say I'm leaving, smart guy. I'll always be a Tennessee fan. But seeing us get destroyed and not improve has just left me numb to it all.

I always love how people say all week that we will get killed. Then, when we get killed, they complain about everything. It's tough to watch. But I expect to lose tonight. Yes, I know we are getting beat badly. But this year we have to beat Mizzou and Vandy to make progress.
