How many years must one be patient? Not down on Butch and the gang by any means. I just don't think I will see the success we've had in the past during my remaining days.

You might be blaming the wrong reason. Since many doctors organize about 10 years ago or so, it's hard to get an appointment. Odd that I never had this problem in Utah, though.

One thing I've found since returning to Knoxville is that when you call the main number, ask to speak to the doctor's nurse to set up an appointment. Don't go through the number for appointments. After I learned this, I've never had to wait more than a day or so for an appointment.

Been waiting a week to see my cardiologist and this is with a recommendation from my GP that I stay home and not even pick up a gal of milk till I see her... Dumb

In your business, you should be able to pick up a new heart with no problems.:) Have you tried asking for his/her nurse when getting an appointment? It's working for me.
