The only reason Peterman sees second string is because the staff wants to redshirt Dobbs.

It's just the fact that a lot of wise guys on here see the third stronger getting reps as him going straight from third string to starter and jumping the guy who beat him out in practice. That's absurd and clearly shows why some people are wearing headsets and some are on a keyboard.

He/she needs to get over it. According to VQ, Worley is banged up badly. If it's Peterman you're referring to - while I'd love a fairy tale recovery for him I just don't see it and I held out hope that he might at least do some good things as a backup but so far he's not there yet.

Agree. At least it would give them something else to deal with. Our play calling makes it way too easy on other teams defense when we should do everything to make it as difficult for them as possible. I think we are backing ourselves into a corner and limiting what we even try.

The only reason Peterman is placed ahead of Dobbs is because Dobbs is in the process of redshirting. You're on a keyboard like the rest of us, so you can stop using that argument.

If dobbs gets the start he will have my support 100%.. just like worley.. just like peterman.

It is called being a fan instead of an unpaid analyst.. some of you should try it :)

So just for the record, you're saying that the coaching staff is redshirting the best QB on our roster for next year instead of playing him this year? That's what you're saying?

haha you are unreal. Yes, they leave the best player on the team in the game and subbed the other guys out (sarcasm).

The entire starting defense is in the game at the end of the 3rd quarter. Watch the video at the exact spot I posted the pic.

Is he the best right now? I don't know, but staffs redshirt players for their potential usually. So, over time, Dobbs could become a REALLY good QB. I'm sorry you have such a hard time understanding.

But what happened now? You are so fast to talk up his performance last year but now all of the sudden he isn't good enough to play now so the red shirt is the cover for that? So amazing that tons of reporters and team media folks all say Dobbs took a step back and the guy that "that needs his head checked" beat him out by massive strides. If Dobbs is better than Peterman, Dobbs would be number 2 on the chart. Especially given how the line has been and how fortunate Worley has been to not get seriously injured hit after hit.

This guy doesn't get it, if I redshirt him I might get a good senior year out of him when the better guy who beat him out graduates.

Peterman had a broken thumb. All you do is go off stat lines. Let's break Dobbs' thumb and see how he does.
