I don't think it says anything really about Dobbs. They lost Ferguson so IF they decided to take a Juco kid to fill that spot, it would make sense as he would be a bit more seasoned and less years to play. Also if Dobbs is your #1maybe it is more saying how they feel about Peterman being the #2 in 2015. If they want to RS the 2 TFR, a Juco would kind of secure that playing out in case of injury.
Well that does make sense. Probably a good plan by the coaches. Jennings and Dormady are gonna be freshman and won't be ready. Makes sense now. :)

Watched highlights of the UF-Mizzou game for the first time.

Makes me want to puke. I don't care how bad the Gators are. That would have been a tenure-defining win for Jones. Unbelievably frustrating to think that we lost that game when Mizzou scored about 12 lucky touchdowns against them. In the freaking Swamp!

Speaking of the Swamp, I wonder how empty it looked once Mizzou started putting a beatdown on them.

It was one of those games that everything just goes your way. Hear where you're coming from because I wish we would have a game like that.

I have told several people that you could put Florida uniforms on any high school team in the state and TN would probably lose (exaggeration I know). I have never seen one team be such a mental hurdle for another team of comparable talent to get over....its amazing in the most unfortunate way.

It's a mental thing at this point because we should've beat them this year. That game was ours for the taking. :(

It has been that way all the way back to the Fulmer-Spurrier days. You could just feel Fulmer start to pucker from the first game of the year to the week they played, and we would blow it every time.

While you guys whine and moan about not beating UF, I'm going to be wearing my orange and saying GBO!!!

A lot of people have said if we had this defense with the 2012 offense, & vice versa, if the 2012 team had a decent defense we would have been really good. So I wanted to see just how the numbers would have lined up.

In 2012 the offense averaged 36 points per game. This year the defense is allowing 21 points per game. So I'm gonna use the defensive average this year of 21 & apply it to all games & see what could have been.

2012
NC state 35-21 W
GA state 51-21 W
Florida 21-20 L
Akron 47-21 W
Georgia 44-21 W
Mississippi State 31-21 W
Alabama 21-13 L
USCe 35-21 W
Troy 55-21 W
Missouri 48-21 W
Vandy 21-18 L
Kentucky 37-21 W

Same here I'm gonna apply the average of 36 from 2012 to all games this year.

2014
Utah State 36-7 W
Arkansas State 36-19 W
Oklahoma 36-34 W
Georgia 36-35 W
Florida 36-10 W
Chattanooga 36-10 W
Ole Miss 36-34 W

Obviously things wouldn't have played out exactly that way, but it gives you a good idea.

Michael Williams really impressed me Saturday. He had the one bad play on the slant, but rebounded very well. Makes me wonder what would've happened if we didn't bench him after his first mistake.

Williams has probably been the biggest surprise on this team. I doubt many people expected him to be our starter across from Cam. I'm glad he's playing well.

I'm always hoping that the mental thing will pass each year. Well, we have to beat them eventually and we will. I just won't be picking them because I've picked them to end the streak twice in recent years but to no avail. It will happen though.

Was he benched on Saturday?

We pulled Williams as soon as he gave up a big play, and then put him back in as soon as Moseley got beat for the touchdown. To me, that's benching, not just a regular rotation.
