Yes it is like that. Much different than Forza 5. You can drive around, hop into races when you want. There are barn finds (find rare cars), speed traps and a few other things to do.

Anyone else have issues with the viewing apps like WatchESPN and FXNow? I find that every few days I have to reactivate them.

One thing my X1 has started doing that annoys me is if I switch to TV, the display is all screwed up. It's like the picture is blown way up and I cannot even read the channel guide information. I always have to shut the system down and re boot before the picture goes back to normal.

Are you on the preview updates? Could be a side effect of that.

Like Sith said, people seem to be having some issues if they are in the preview program.

LOL I know! I've got to hand it to MS. They are doing everything they can to make the X1 as attractive as possible. So far nothing they've tried has been able to slow down the PS4 Juggernaut. If a 350 price tag, free game, and Halo Masterchief collection doesn't move the needle in console sales for them, they might as well piss on the fire, call in the dogs, and find something else to invest their money in.

Their snarky remarks about their planned DRM setup turned me off on them moreso than the DRM itself. Enough to where I don't think I'll ever consider buying one.

It's getting great reviews. However I just cannot get interested in the game. Maybe I'm just getting too old but something about the concept looks retarded to me. It's like a toilet-humored Jet Grind Radio with guns.

That is what I am thinking. Nothing about this game really made me want to buy it. I think I will just wait for a future price drop.

People who are buying the sunset overdrive bundle have been receiving emails from Microsoft stating that they are giving them a digital download for Ryse son of Rome. Thought that was cool.

Credit to Kwebb for mentioning this in Game Deals thread but Target is having a B2G1 Free sale from Nov. 9-15. November is a huge gaming month and there's plenty of great games to get for this!
