Every interview and press conference have the same "We understand the magnitude, we'll be ready" shtick and all end in losses. Someone should make a Press Conference comparison throughout the season to see how they all sound the same.

I'm frustrated too, but all coaches say the same things over and over. That's not specific to Jones.

He is appeasing a hostile audience. Telling people what they want to hear keeps the wolves at bay for another week. He's good at spinning.

They have to do these press conferences....what do u want him to say.....Dooley screwed us, I can't believe I have to follow him.

What do you want him to say? "Sorry everybody, we just aren't very good and the players we have suck" Yep, that's a morale booster.

It still bothers me when I spend my hard earned money to watch em play, but I guess I'm jus gambling with my money by doing this.. I was pissed last night but I did expect it.
So why was I pissed it's funny to me..

Exactly. That's the kind of presser Dooley usually gave and everyone on here flamed him for it. You can't please anyone.

Personally, I am thankful that he doesn't say arrogant, stupid crap every time he gets in front of a mic. (Lane Kiffin, anyone??)

You know why they sound the same? Because everyone asks him the same questions. Guess what? If you keep asking about the OL troubles, which are not going to get better, then you will hear the same answer.

Exactly. Didn't anyone here ever listen to a Phil Fulmer presser? They were like he got paid by the cliche and Phil never did anything but mumble and talk about watching film and working like heck in practice.

I feel like Tennessee is on a constant loop. Another few years my liver is going to give out and I'm going to be living on the streets. I'm spending a fortune on light bulbs.

Like me, you probably didn't expect a win against the #3 ranked team, but you also probably expected us to look competitive offensively.

Offensively, we looked completely lost and incoherent. Never looked like we belonged on the field.

That's what I cannot accept.

I guess sarcasm falls deaf on some. They are not getting better. Thomas comes out of his stance nearly falling backwards he's so off balance. It's awful.

Because you want to believe. Like all the rest of us that it will get better. Whether you are negative, positive, or someone in between we all just want the same thing. This continued lack of life hurts.
