that same excuse was used after the 2005 season. I think it was used to explain some of 2006's problems as well (such as the defense not being able to hold on 4th and long situations).

Yes, amazing how we are always young and always have the injury bug. Everyone has to deal with injuries. GIve me a break.

You still haven't answered questions about winning games that we shouldn't have. Can you give some recent examples?

It's been used to explain a lot of things since 2001. Every year.

thank god I think we do have some promising young talent (Berry, Rogan, Vinson, and so on and so forth) that will actually help us in the upcoming years as opposed to the 'talent' we've brought in for the past few years.

UGA this year. Not to side with MvilleReb. But UGA was definitely something we shouldn't have won.

LSU was as injury riddled as a team could possibly be by the 4th quarter, which I might add we were leading 14-13......don't get me started about '01 when LSU was playing with the 2nd string quarterback and running back.....so many excuses, so much disdain for them

instead of winning games we shouldn't, how about losing games we should have won?

Cal and LSU from this past season come to mind. Penn St., LSU, and Florida last season.

This is ludicrous. Which side of the ball do you find daunting for this UGA squad? Their D is weak, the O Line is awful, their receivers are the most inconsistent in the conference and their QB appears to have a very strong arm without matching brain.

So I'm really curious about why you think we shouldn't expect to beat them?

Just be glad the whole team didn't run on the field to celebrate a TD..that would have surely scared the life out of UT.

I believe you are being "bashed" (which in this case apparently means "asked to back up statements you have made") because you have yet to give us any proof of the above statements. Tennessee does not play better as an underdog, we just play to our level of competition on occasion. Someone else on the board said it best "if we played better as underdogs, we wouldn't be underdogs" So please, prove me wrong.
