Got to have a guy willing to get in the mix and willing to get his hands dirty. That's Roy Adams to a tee and despite his medical condition would do anything for the UT football program.

You think Ole Miss has reservations about getting dirty? You think they're playing fair?

I think Freeze would like to run a clean program generally. At least that's the impression I got about the guy when I met him in his time here at Lambuth but then again he hires dirt bags like Kiffin.

It just happens that there is much OM influence from people around the Richmond's, and the OM staff has helped facilitate that. OM and UT were the top two destinations for MUS grads last year. It also helps that OM has recruited several Memphis kids in the last couple of classes.

Richmond has friends and even a girlfriend at UT. Once we start showing more success, these will come easier for us.

All coaches give off that impression. Hell, you would think Urban Meyer is Jesus himself if you didn't know what he was doing behind the scenes.

A well known poster on VQ asked if Meyer's recruiting antics would some day get him suspended. The poster's reply was, "suspended? He should be arrested."

Freeze likes to surround himself with dirty recruiters so that he can stay above the fray and keep his hands clean, while preaching to recruits about God, winning mothers over with his family speech, giving lollipops to babies etc.

Eh, I don't know about ignored. But plenty of people accepted it. And the only reason it was accepted as due to Fulmer getting passed up by other coaches in the league who would push the envelope a little further. I think Kiffin and the gang was overkill. They didn't even bother masking their efforts. Once we got hit with sanctions, I think most fans realized we need a more subtle and creative approach in recruiting. If Kiffin stayed longer than a year, we would have lost scholarships

What I think is you have already started drinking for the game early.

Keep Roy Adams as far away from this program as possible. He was shunned for a reason, keep it that way.

The city of Memphis will become orange again, when UT starts winning. I hate to say it, but people jump on bandwagons of winners. Take Alabama for example. I rarely saw any cars with Bama stickers or plates during the Franchione and Shula years. Now, they're everywhere.

I'll also be at the MUS game tonight.

Heck no. Stay away from Adams. That loud mouth would scream to the rooftops what he was doing. You want people that keep their mouth shut and go unnoticed

I don't see the joke really. I know KM's dad is Oakland's GM, but he could say his Alma mater needs his help, and wear a jersey for a game.

This recruitment is over imo.

He's probably catching crap from Tennessee fans in Memphis. So he's playing with Vol fans so they get off his back.

I'm sure that would work. Raiders fans are known as being the most understanding and well mannered fan base, well either that or they'll stab him in the parking lot
