The problem with our current oline is that we are playing four guards and a center.

Yeah that is what kills me. I am not a coach, but I don't understand how we can justify playing guys out of position when we have guys for the position who are quick enough and strong enough to contribute, but maybe they aren't mentally all there. Seems to meet that talent might out weigh experience when experience is WAY slower than the talent.

The two guys with the highest upside at tackle, imo, are Kendricks and Blair.

Blair had shown little to nothing so far and Kendrick was apparently so bad in his limited playing time that he isn't even being considered for playing time this year.

What we really have to hope for is the light kicks on for Blair, Thomas matures and Kendricks develops phyically in time for the 2015 season.

We are depleted in talent, experience and depth. I am sure that the coaches have put the best 5 on field.

Per Hubbs

As we said earlier this week don't be surprised if head coach Butch Jones makes his way out to Memphis University School on Friday, either. MUS is home to Drew Richmond and 2016 linebacker target Tim Hart and the Vols want both of those prospects to know just how much they are wanted in Knoxville.

As we have mentioned several times this week, Richmond seems very much open to Tennessee and plans to be back on campus several more times before signing day. The question is, can the Vols overcome the distance factor as well as the number of Ole Miss people in and around him. Tennessee is fighting an uphill battle there but Jones certainly seems like he's not giving Richmond up without a fight.

What all those close to his recruitment will tell you is there will be drama in this one all the way up to signing day.

Even more important than landing Richmond is establishing Memphis as Vol country.

I'm afraid of Ole Miss sinking in there.

Ole miss has always been strong there as well as Bama, and ar-kansas to some extent. We have at times pulled a few good players out of Memphis. The only thing is ole miss has usually had 2 & 3 rd pickings after bummer and UT. We do not want them getting all the prime players. But the Mid-State is now producing a lot of good players and the trip is a much easier sell to KNOXVEGAS from Nashville, than Memphis.

I was in Memphis last weekend and saw virtually no UT supporters.

If Butch is smart, he will find a way to get the Memphis fold riled back up and he should start with Roy Adams...yep I said Roy Adams.

Gotta start winning games before the UT gear comes back out
