Some of you guys are just stupid about the whole mom part. You wear orange colored glasses all the time instead of using common sense.
If it was mom pushing him to Tenn then it would be, "his mom knows what's best for him". If his mom is pushing him away from Tenn then "she is trying to control his life".
I have a daughter who is a great runner at the age of 13. She runs 5k's in the 19 mins and some of the older girls received scholly's from USCe, Clemson, Tenn, and Georgia. They took scholly's to USCe and Georgia. My daughter will receive the same offers if she drops about a min on her time over the next 4 years. With the way the world is going, and the way kids are changing these days, we have talked to our daughter about taking a scholly closer to home. I will fully encourage it (UNCC is a good option) over her going to UT and being 5 hours away.
You don't have to see my point. I'm here to be her parent, not others. Same goes for Richmond's mom.
I hope we get him but I fully understand if we don't.
