I just think Hubbs talking about specific recruits being "switched out" even if he is just alluding to positions is unprofessional and potentially damaging.

Can someone please post the direct quotes that P. Fort or Hubbs said? I feel like that would clear up a lot of confusion. Reading "interpretations" of what they said really doesn't help.

negative. While he does get some info from the staff itself, most of his recruiting info comes from either the prospect himself or someone close to the prospect such as a family member.

Remember its an NCAA violation for a member of the coaching staff to talk about a prospect to the media unless they have signed the faa waiver, as was the case with Josh Malone last year.

talking about recruits getting dropped who are current commits is unprofessional to me. I could see it backfiring on him. I wouldn't say crap like that if I were him but that's just my opinion. You can already see the fallout.

It's his job to report on the team and recruiting. If he has a source suggesting certain players could be recruited over, I don't see how reporting that is unprofessional.

Hot as the inside of a boot in the summer time but nice weather. Hiking is great. I used to work for a local nonprofit that specialized in installing trail maintenance structures for the city's trail systems. Lots of great hiking in Austin's city limits and lots of great state parks 10-30 mins away.

YOU are the one making up things that Brent said. He never said the staff is planning on cutting Reid.

He just said he is one to watch to see how he reacts when the Vols pick up a third back.
