Girl is so lonely that she's putting her arm around air.

Guess she's consoling her imaginary friend.

I'd be friends with her. All night long.

I wonder if vandy fans have heard the "checker vandy" rumors.

They have. They are silver lining it really hard though, they are glass half full looking at it with the rationale that if we do it we are giving their university money by actually filling the stadium.

I personally don't think it's possible, logistics and their few fans messing it up mixed with how small their stadium is. I would like to dominate it with a sea of orange, there is little to nothing they could do about that.

Gonna look like ben Peter griffin Stadium by season's end.

Also known as the Orlando Magic, Miami Heat, Florida Marlins, Jacksonville Jaguars and Miami Hurricane stadium.

Vanderbilt doesn't have fans. Florida doesn't have fans when they lose. Which is ironic, cause Florida fans are losers.

Oh and now they're royally butthurt by the "Checkerboard Vandy" talk. Check out the brilliance of the "UT mastermind" thread over there.

They could do something cool with their fans if they could ever convince more than 10K to show up.

In positive news, vandymania had 288 users online today. 280 of them *****ing about the coaching. 278 wanted the staff fired. 2 said to calm down and they'll turn the season around. What's odd is that -3000 were looking for other SEC gear.

I know it's shoulda, woulda, could... but I find this both funny and sad.

Vanderbilt beat Charleston Southern by 1 and UMass by 3.

We lost to Florida by 1 and Georgia by 3.

Four points is the difference between two losses and two wins for both teams. If only it had gone the other way. Vanderbilt is already hilariously bad, but I'd be piss myself with laughter if the pendulum had swung the other way and we were currently 5-1 and they were 0-7. Four freaking points... None the less, I'm still going to laugh at Vandy.

Apparently the board of trustees is tired of the rape case, the bad publicity to the football team and athletics department. They're talking about changing things BIG TIME around the AD and specifically the football team. They want to take money away from the AD and put it back into the school and the medical side.

Not sure if you've heard something similar?

Someone on VM supposedly "in the know" has posted something along these lines. The word is they want athletics and specifically football to just basically survive on "SEC money". The poster's opinion was that Vandy football would be all but dead. They wouldn't drop the program but they would be content with merely fielding a team and fully embracing that they'll be the permanent doormat of the SEC.

In other words, I really hope they enjoyed the past 3 years because barring the stars aligning, it's not going to ever happen again.

I don't know how true all of that is but it wouldn't shock me.

If I were the other ADS in the sec I would not be okay with candy sucking up our money

Not sure if anyone has seen this or not but Vandy's AD back at home after having been hospitalized for an undisclosed "medical issue".

The conspiracy person inside of me makes me wonder if they're setting this up for him to step down due to health reasons. He's an idiot and made two good hires in his tenure but that's it. Without Franklin's short run they'd be worse than before. Corbin has helped but its college baseball which barely a blip on the big picture. Take those two out and he's a failure. Worse than Hamilton and that's hard to do.

Why not? Now that P5 schools will have to schedule at least 1 OOC game against another P5, the SECE will have a built in cupcake win with Vanderbilt. Assuming that UK regresses to the mean, the SECE will have 2 built in cupcakes. This will make the path to the playoff significantly easier.

So in other words, nothing is changing

Another post on VM said the word was he wants to retire and get of dodge. So you're probably right.
