Always a step behind, it seems.

Oh, and does that apply to flights out of Africa?

I'm stunned she thought she could travel. Dismayed it was even allowed.

I said 2-3 weeks ago here itt that we ought to shut down passengers from West Africa coming in. Some have suggested that Obama has the authority to do that, but I've not actually seen anything about that. Anyone know if he actually can?

If he can, he ought to do that today.

Yes, he is the only one standing in the way of it. It is a State Department issue and they answer directly to him.

If he can open the border with only his pen and phone surely he can close it to a couple of flights

I'm going to need more than your say so, I'm afraid.

And to clarify, I'm okay if aid workers and doctors want to go over there to help out. More power to them. But when they want to come back, it should be conditioned on a 30 day quarantine, first.

Well, again, that on its face makes sense, but I'd like to see that from a reputable source rather than just pure guesswork.

But if he can, he should.

I just read that as well.

So she was symptomatic on the plane, meaning she was contagious.

Also, she was in Cleveland preparing for her wedding. Where is her fiancee?

Someone had the authority to shut all incoming and domestic flights down within hours of 9-11.

Just using wikipedia they say a normal temp is 97.7-99.5 so she was in the "good".
