Drastic action needed on Ebola

This is all part of Obamas post racial America. Huffy posted the numbers earlier. For black people, if white cops don't kill you, Ebola will.

So glad we've got Jesse Jackson on our side

I seem to remember something about Pale Faces spreading smallpox and such throughout the dark skinned residents in this country a few years back. Except the Pale Faces did that on purpose, to kill the dark skinned residents of this country. And the Pale Faces govt assisted in this action. Do you remember reading about that?

You must have read that in the Little Red Book.

What? So donating to the people who are leading the fight against Ebola is stupid?

Please explain how that is stupid. Good God.

Are you honestly this dumb?

You think money is an issue in their fight? Honestly, are you so naive to believe this?

Also, what drugs have they created to fight it? Please, tell us how the medical version of the US Postal Service is going to fight Ebola.

Those in charge in Dallas are saying they are preparing for more to be infected. It will get worst before it gets better. The future doesn't look to good for those that work in the Dallas hospital area who are caring for sick ebola patients.

So apparently this Dallas hospital ****ed this thing up at every turn. Embarrassing and scary at the same time.

This may be the reason . If true the Hospital failed miserably.

Nurses at Dallas hospital describe poor safety measures with Ebola victim - LA Times

Nurses at a Texas hospital where a Liberian man died of Ebola described a confused and chaotic response to his arrival in the emergency room, alleging in a statement Tuesday that he languished for hours in a room with other patients and that hospital authorities resisted isolating him.

In addition, they said, the nurses tending him had flimsy protective gear and no proper training from hospital administrators in handling such a patient.

The nurses' statement alleged that when Duncan was brought to Texas Health Presbyterian by ambulance with Ebola-like symptoms, he was “left for several hours, not in isolation, in an area” where up to seven other patients were. “Subsequently, a nurse supervisor arrived and demanded that he be moved to an isolation unit, yet faced stiff resistance from other hospital authorities,” they alleged.

Rick Perry is following Obama's footsteps so to speak. Ebola strikes TX, citizens are scared, Perry heads to Europe.

How long before Dallas nurses start quitting, assuming it hasn't happened already? Who could blame them? I sure as hell wouldn't stay at my job under these conditions. When that starts to happen, that health care system is in big trouble. Is anyone else beginning to wonder whether all the accolades heaped on the American health care system were a little premature?

Less about the CDC. This hospital is apparently run by a bunch of imbeciles.

Clearly, the people running the hospital don't know what they're doing. How could they? They've never handled anything like this. But isn't the CDC supposed to be running point on this? Shouldn't they have known that the hospital couldn't handle this? Shouldn't they have demanded that Patient 0 be placed in a facility that could handle this (assuming there is one)? Especially in light of their own practice of only handling ebola with the strictest protocols (full body air pressure suits, etc.)? The CDC is not blameless in this.
