Uhm, okay? I lived with my uncle and made this account. He would get on and look under my name and posted during the Von Bell situation. I now go to UT, and just started posting for the F U Florida chant. I have nothing to prove to you though soooo I don't care.
In a day where parents don't raise their kids it's not a bad thing that his mom is involved. No one knows how much pressure she is putting on him. She wants her son to be successful and will lead him that way. We just want a football player for 4 years. His mom should be celebrated not blamed.
I hope he comes here but it's purely selfish. He is just a football player to me. He will always be her son.

Hey guys, I was at Wal Mart last night and saw Richmond. I followed him around for about 2 hours. Before the cops showed up, I caught him buying some orange soda.
Just thought I'd pass on this tidbit.
my son plays football and if he is able to go through the recruiting process i will stay out of it and let him make his own choice.now if he asks me for some advice on what to do i will help him.but in the end he will make his own choice.and i think drew richmonds mother should do the same.and if he picks us great for him and UT.
Some of you guys are just stupid about the whole mom part. You wear orange colored glasses all the time instead of using common sense.
If it was mom pushing him to Tenn then it would be, "his mom knows what's best for him". If his mom is pushing him away from Tenn then "she is trying to control his life".
I have a daughter who is a great runner at the age of 13. She runs 5k's in the 19 mins and some of the older girls received scholly's from USCe, Clemson, Tenn, and Georgia. They took scholly's to USCe and Georgia. My daughter will receive the same offers if she drops about a min on her time over the next 4 years. With the way the world is going, and the way kids are changing these days, we have talked to our daughter about taking a scholly closer to home. I will fully encourage it (UNCC is a good option) over her going to UT and being 5 hours away.
You don't have to see my point. I'm here to be her parent, not others. Same goes for Richmond's mom.
I hope we get him but I fully understand if we don't.
Guys. We in dis thang...
He said he decided to spend the weekend at Tennessee because he just wanted to get up there and be around them.
I love those guys so much. I love Coach (Butch) Jones. I love (director of player personnel) Bob Welton, (offensive line coach Don) Mahoney. I love all those guys,
There's even more glowing things he says.
Im taking all five visits, and I will be at Tennessee for the Bama game, he said. And theres a possibility Ill come back up there a couple more times for maybe the Kentucky game or Missouri. I just love being there. I mean, Im committed to Ole Miss and stuff, but I love being up there with those guys.
I mean, anything can happen, said Richmond, who expects Jones to attend his home game Friday night against St. Benedict at Auburndale High School of Cordova, Tenn. Something wild can happen. Coach could get a new job anything. I just dont want to get put in a bad situation, so thats why Im taking all my visits.
Like I said, anything can happen. Im just being practical about it.

And on the flip side maybe she wants to be 5 hours away from you. Nothing personal but I didn't want my parents living an hour away.
At age 13, 19 minute 5K is very impressive. Props, Dad
1) Congrats on her hardwork and all that she is doing to get a scholly. If that is what she chooses, then I will not stop her. I am here to teach my kids right and wrong. Teach them how to care for others and not to be selfish. Show them what other kids do to make mistakes and tell her I hope she doesn't follow the same path.
I have told her that her chances of making big errors will increase if she was to travel further away from us (percentage/not fact). That doesn't mean she can't mess up closer to home or that UT is bad. She just won't have us around to give advice to when its needed or visit often to check on her.
At this moment she agrees totally. If she chooses to go a different route then what we have talked about, I will still love her and try to support her as much as possible.

2) If my parents were the end all be all of a decision that will affect me more than my parents I hope to God that it's my decision not theirs.
3) I wasn't accusing her of being too over protective or controlling but it's hopefully Drews decision and not his mothers decision and I hope it's the same in your situation.
