Preston Williams. This kid not only plays WR for Lovejoy HS but also punts, and averages somewhere around 42 yards a punt (with a long of 60 yds.):rock:

Townsend one of the top HS punters in the country. CBJ recruited him after watching him at a punters camp. He is from Tennessee I believe.

Well, as long as he can put it fifty yards down the field he can be from Mars.

Townsend is from FL, but he'll have to be other worldly to beat out Daniel next year. There's a walk on from Mississippi named Waites (or something like that) that isn't shabby.

won't happen the way he is starting to get touchbacks; check the online interview with Elder; it's really hard on your leg to kick off that far, that many times, plus field goals. it's one thing to all round kick in high school, but not Div I. Townsend will get it.

Are you kidding about "other worldly" to beat out Trevor Daniel next year? Why isn't Daniel kicking this year then. I wouldn't consider Darr as "other worldly" but decently ok.

Whoever is the kicking coach deserves a raise. Like Palardy last year at the beginning of this season had you told me Darr would be anything but a wasted scholarship I would have called you crazy. Happy to say I was wrong about Darr.

A. Darr has been phenomenal this season
B. Daniel was just as good coming out of HS, if not better
C. Daniel is the incumbent.
D. Daniel showed flashes of great punts in camps. Is known for having outstanding hang time with better than average distance.

yes, a life long memory for Palardy with the game winner at South Carolina; as a Ray Guy semifinalist would he have made the cut in NFL if he had been a specialist? CBJ likes Medley, booming leg, smart kid with an academic scholarship not causing any worry year to year; doubt he will ever punt unless in emergency.
