Secret Service Sex Scandal

So is it the White House leaking the stories to the press then? It seems like this would be a matter of national security and should be handled out of the public view unless it's something that directly affects citizens.

That would be my guess.

That would be my guess.

you think they would want people to know their agents are engaging in that kind of activity and possibly susceptible to outside influences? A passed out agent in the hotel hallway doesn't really put up much of a fight

If they aren't leaking, then at the very least they aren't giving directions to handle the issue quietly.

Can't make this stuff up

Whether the White House volunteer, Jonathan Dach, was involved in wrongdoing in Cartagena, Colombia, remains unclear. Dach, then a 25-year-old Yale University law student, declined to be interviewed, but through his attorney he denied hiring a prostitute or bringing anyone to his hotel room. Dach has long made the same denials to White House officials.

Dach this year started working full time in the Obama administration on a federal contract as a policy adviser in the Office on Global Women’s Issues at the State Department.

Dach’s father, Leslie Dach, is a prominent Democratic donor who gave $23,900 to the party in 2008 to help elect Obama. In his previous job as a top lobbyist for Wal-Mart, he partnered with the White House on high-profile projects, including Michelle Obama’s “Let’s Move!” campaign.

He, too, joined the Obama administration this year. In July, he was named a senior counselor with the Department of Health and Human Services, where part of his responsibilities include handling the next phase of the Affordable Care Act.

hope and change beeotches!

Really? We have to go find examples of the sons or daughters of GOP contributors getting appointed to jobs in GOP administrations or agencies? Come on. So common it borders on pedestrian.

Bear in mind I'm not defending it. Its obviously wrong, whoever does it. But pretending like its unique to Obama is just absurdly irrational.

no one is pretending it's Obama only so the only thing absurd is your ridiculous strawman

It is a bit ironic that a guy soliciting prostitutes is promoted to a women's issues post no?

Also par for the course in the most transparent administration in history that they've been decided opaque in this instance.

Actually I missed the part about where he ended up, yup, pretty funny.

But then of course you have to go on and add in that its par for the course for THIS administration, when in reality it is part for the course for ALL of them.

Psssssst. Your blind partisanship is showing.

Every administration promotes guys like these?

No matter how bad this gets it will never compare to this cover up that very few people ever heard of.
The Franklin Coverup Scandal The Child sex ring that reached Bush/Reagan Whitehouse
Craig J. Spence - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I've seen some interviews with retired F.B.I. chief, Ted Gunderson who was mentioned in the article. He was investigating some scary stuff after his retirement. If any of his claims are true, we've got some screwed up leaders in this country.

pssst...the "everybody does it" defense, isn't really a defense, especially when the man you voted for twice promised to be a different kind of leader.

Oh good Lord

It's hard to know what to think of someone who would steal the White House silverware.

As for the SS agents, if they were off duty and prostitution is legal in Cartegena, what's the uproar all about?
