I do. There's people who would have a hard time paying for condoms and the last thing they need is children. That's why I 100% support tax payer dollars going to pay for condoms, birth control, and even abortions.

Because it is cost effective.

uh it meant ready for sex. What you're advocating is yet another program to remove responsibility from the individual and place it in the govt. What we'll get is yet another useless govt expenditure with negligible results. Hooray for big govt fans :clapping:

if a person can't be bothered to pay a minuscule amount to prevent it now do you seriously think free is going to change it much?

that's about the average cost for the pill. If they want condoms those are given out for free at clinics. Zero need for govt funding yet another "I'm too stupid to take care of myself" program

Yet a responsible couple trying to adopt a child in this country can expect to pay $10,000 to $20,000 to adopt an unwanted child. We have people going overseas to adopt a child due to expense and hassle.

Why not make adoption easier and cheaper and abortion more expensive?

Why not make both cheaper? I agree there are far too many hoops to jump through with adoption. My wife and I have actually thought about adopting eventually. But the cost may keep us from it.

But why make abortion more expensive?

Responsible peoble take care of their children, it might mean cutting out their own convienences to take care of them but they do.

I agree with this. It's also why people need to exercise personal responsibility. If you can't do better than minimum wage then you shouldn't be popping out a bunch of kids. I could understand having a couple, but when you get to 3, 4, 5 kids and different fathers for each one then you are just a crappy parent with 0 personal responsibility.

What should be offered and strongly suggested to anyone on welfare is having their tubes tied after their second child. In fact, I'd make it a requirement in order to keep recieving welfare.
