'15 JUCO RB Alvin Kamara (UT commit 6/21/14)

He missed on on what I consider a difficult catch. I can only remember him missing on another and on that one the defender had one of his hands pulled behind his back. Should have been PI.

He missed another going over the middle at about head level. I had him with three drops in the OU game. You mentioned the other two.

Dude that catch for him should've been easy. A CB that size shouldn't win a physical matchup versus Croom. I don't care what he was doing. Glad he bounced back well this game.

I agree. If his physicality matched his size, he has a Mike Evans type skill set. He just has yet to show the physicality of a 6-5, 230 lb WR. Still time to though.

The rest of this year and possibly two more...by the time he assimilates, the threads on here will be titled WHO IS THE NEXT....

Not one single person was ready to write him off. He embarrassed WRU on national TV and got called out for it. No one said he was done or would never have a chance at being decent.

Croom has had a soft cast on his hands,is playing hurt, and you are saying "he's embarrassing WRU on TV".. get real... just like someone posted earlier,a lot of people called out Josh last year,I couldn't understand why we were playing him he was so bad at times, but I didnt publicly bash the kid...Not many people knew the full story and him being hurt...now a bunch of people feel like dicks...

so before you bash a kid, think about that...being uninformed is no excuse

Josh said himself that he sucked last year and there was no excuse. His drops had 0 to do with an injury, his own words.

And you didn't have to hear the bar full of Oklahoma fans cheering for us to keep throwing it to 18 and mockingly calling us WRU because of him.

Maybe u should watch UT games at home if bar patrons bother u so much.....

It was 3 easy catches that he totally whiffed. One of them in the endzone that turned into an int. It was every bit as bad as Josh smith's bad games last year. It was horrible, he got called out by fans on a message board, and the "Croom can do no wrong" apologists can't handle anyone saying anything bad about his performance.

Everyone wants and expects him to have UGA games be the rule, not the exception like it has been. No one thinks someone of that size and speed is a lost cause, we just recognize that he has a ways to go.

Croom had his wrist in a soft cast since the prep for Utah St. iirc. Can we lay off a kid trying to play injured? I swear, some people.

Now back to Alvin Kamara.

Now back to Alvin Kamara.

All I did was criticize his lackluster performance on the field. The Croom apologists just cant handle anyone suggesting that a 3rd year WR who plays a bad game might have some criticism thrown his way.

Edit I'm beating a dead horse though, I'll drop it.

Lol, ya, that's the moral of that story.

Nah - it has been painfully obvious to any football fan regardless of allegiance. But like last year, 90+% on here were dogging Smith last season and now they are lamenting him being out. Croom can turn it around like that. He has played soft in most of his games at UT. The injuries have been getting to him mentally as well. The shoulder last season and the wrist/hand this season. He has yet to learn how to leverage his size against the d-backs, who are all smaller than him. He also has to be more aggressive in coming back for the ball. This last game was a nice coming out party. Now he needs to go kick azz the rest of the season and time on the hill. If he doesn't, sit his tail like Bowles.

EDIT: Kamara is going to totally change the appearance of this offense. The D will not have the ability to focus on only one running threat. And he can take it to the house very quickly. Still pleasantly surprised he will be a Vol.

I'm pretty sure of 2 things..

1. Croom had a nice TD catch and a couple other nice catches in the GA game. He's no slouch.

2. You have no clue what the he!! you're talking about.

Good Day, Sir.

No you and your couch coach buddies can criticize all day long but when he proves you wrong as many of us told you he would you're too butt hurt that you were wrong to give him any props. You're the one that's embarrassing not Croom.

OK man

Look, I'm not here to pick a fight with you. You asked me earlier to go find a post where people were giving up on Croom, well I had forgotten that it got so bad Freak had to delete the whole thread. I just don't get where throwing players under the bus is beneficial. You can be critical but claiming he embarrassed the university is too far IMO.

I've seen those stupid threads in the FF, one of which was deleted. I think MZTERRY realizes there are morons that post that crap and she realizes it's a small percentage of Vol fans that behave like that. Some of which may not even be Vol fans. She also realizes there are a percentage of morons and simple minded folks at all big time college programs. MZTERRY seems to be 100% on the Butch train.

Lol, I do, and I know you can't fix stupid

You're a joke, dude! First it was Hurd not playing fast enough for you and now Croom isn't good enough. You call people out and then hide behind "I'm not saying he isn't fast" or "no one said someone of that size and speed can't be good". If you're going to be a b*tch, just be a b*tch. Don't be a b*tch and then act like you're not being a b*tch cause then you just sound like a bigger b*tch. Now I'm not saying that you couldn't be less of a b*tch if you worked at it, I'm just recognizing that you're not there yet.

I had to put that dude on ignore. I can handle a little complaining, but when it gets that excessive, it's time to cut those people out of your life.
