'15 NC DT Shy Tuttle (UT commit 9/26/14)

If he truly can't distinguish between three schools, his commitment won't mean a lot because he could easily be flipped by one of the other schools.

Of course he is going to say that, pretty much every recruit does at this juncture, they don't want to give it away. I would have been much more surprised if he had said anything else.

LOL....Geez. We've gotten a lot better, but we were NEVER going to beat OK....

We had a chance. To say we never had one is complete bs. It wasnt like they completed dominated us the whole way through the game. If that was the case, they would've pulled their starters out. Three plays and the game could've been different, it wasn't a total domination by OU by any means.

JMO of course

UGA - likely to be a L
Florida - very possible W
UTC - W
Miss - toss up
bama - likely to be a L
USCe - very possible W
UK - W
Mizzou - W
Vandy W

I think we have a realistic shot at 8-4, but just as realistic a shot at 5-7. I believe in CBJ & co. to get us to a minimum of 6 wins; barring any catastrophic injuries. But it's certainly not delusional to see 6 more wins on this schedule.

Agree but don't see at Ole Miss a toss up. Most likely a loss but agree on the rest. We have got to beat UF this yr.

OU was in control pretty much the whole way. We had our chances to make it a much more respectable score but obviously just couldn't close out a couple of drives. You can see the improvement in focus, athletic ability and overall team speed and it's very encouraging. That being said, IMHO, we never threatened to win that game.

Agree just depends on which Bo Wallace shows up. If in Neyland I would say toss up or slight advantage to Ole Miss but I expect a 14 point loss like 28-14 (their defense is pretty dang good)

I was more talking about why does it matter if a couple plays changed the game?

Everyone can see we are getting better. We are on record pace as well. Butch Jones has done a tremendous job.

That being said, the final outcome is the only thing that matters to everyone except Vol fans.

If we keep recruiting like we have then we will be able to compete with Oklahoma. It won't be a 24 score differential.

whats so bad for enjoying and talking about all of the game?...not just the final #? except vol fans?.. hmm.. I take that as a compliment.

I would call Oklahoma's ability to put a helmet in Worley's chest before he could take a snap, turn sideways, and throw a wide receiver screen complete domination

What gives you this newfound inclination? Is it that we beat Utah state and Arkansas state and Oklahoma covered the 21 point spread against us?

Though I'm sure it's a rhetorical question...

1. Our defense is stout, and will only get better, provided we don't accumulate injuries.

2. Our OL is not good, but they will get better with each game, provided we don't accumulate injuries.

3. USCe has not looked that great.

4. UGA has no passing game, injuries, we have played them tough the last 3 years.

5. FL is more winnable this year than it has been for a while.

6. Bama looks a lot like Oklahoma in terms of strength. I do not expect us to beat them, but if we play perfect football, we might. Perfect football would have beaten Oklahoma.

7. Mizzou lost to Indiana. Not really impressed.

8. Vandy is back to their wonderful selves

9. KY are our whipping boys.

These are some basic reasons, which I am sure you were not really looking for. We may still be in for some bad losses, but I think we are on the upswing.

Yes, Worley got hit, but OU still didn't completely dominate.

I'm not trying to knock the performance of UT because the defense played the best they have in years, but most of the offensive production came after we were down 27-7 and Oklahoma could give the wide outs a cushion and play a bend but don't brake defense. Yes we could have made the score closer, but the game was really never in doubt

Not quite dead in the water but getting close, I've got sources at ND and right now I'd gauge it about 75/25 in favor of Tennessee. We'll find out a week from Friday. Me personally, I'll be shocked if he ends up in Chapel Hill. Everyone around him is wondering what he sees in Tennessee besides the big SEC name.

You forgot to mention the Seattle seahawks have a loss this year too. I'm sure our vols would have a pretty decent shot given they are one dimensional on offense
So, when did the SEC expand into the North West, and into the NFL? Apples and Oranges, hoss. :loco:

When a supposed Superbowl contender like the 49'ers, for example, has a loss early in the season, it indeed indicates that they are very beatable...cause I don't know, genius....maybe it's because they got....BEAT already.
