And remember this is an SC team that beat UGA. And we are getting better each week. And our freshman QB grew up a little tonight. Not in any way was this a repeat of Ole Miss. We are making some progress here.

Apparently Vandy fans believe they've improved and can take on the world after last night. It took two kick returns and a garbage touchdown at the end of the game to make it a two touchdown loss. If they think they're going to score on two kick returns every game let alone one for that matter, they're delusional. Take away the kick returns and garbage score, they lose 48-13. Heck, I'll give them the garbage score because that happens all the time. Kick returns don't though, especially two in a game. In other words, Vandy would have lost 48-20 on most given nights. They're really improved though... I'm just gonna assume the crack is rampant in the Vanderbilt community.


At least one Vandy fan gets it.

And Spurrier thinks Vanderbilt is garbage too, as well as SC.

Give them some hope. Like a giant box under the Christmas tree that you are excited about. And after anxiously awaiting Christmas morning, you tear at the paper only to find it has a $5 gift card inside.

I'm all about them building up their hope only to have it smashed with a sledge hammer.

I love listening to Vandy fans. It's just a rollercoaster for them. I hope most don't expect 9 wins anytime soon.

Pretty classless fan base after my cousin called me this morning, her 16 y/o son and his girlfriend went to the game they're from Nashville and he's a huge Vol fan. He was wearing Vol gear to the game and after SC scored their last TD to take the lead they stood up and cheered. Those assclowns started to cuss and said something very derogatory to his GF that made her cry...

Lucky I wasn't there it woulda been some ass whoopin going on.. I can't stand them, I'm glad to see their place as being Tenn's little sister.

I don't condone the Vandy fans cursing and the remarks, but it's not exactly smart to go dressed in Vol gear and cheer when the other team does something. That screams asking for trouble.

I don't disagree, if it jus being my cousin I wouldn't say anything but with his gf being cussed and called derogatory things that's what got me pissed..

Some people get cranky when they lose. Volnation is a prime example of that. Tennessee wasn't even playing Vanderbilt. Why wear Tennessee gear to another team's stadium, and cheer for the away team (which is not Tennessee)?

Sounds to me like your cousin and his 2/10 girlfriend were asking for it. I find it shocking that she would cry over being called names. They pull a stunt like that what do they expect?

Hell, I've been at Neyland and have heard our fans calling our players derogatory names in front of their parents. lol

Umm, yes and no. UT was prepared to offer him a schollie but dropped him like a hot coal after he showed his attitude at a summer camp. Academically he wouldn't qualify at UT but he made it into the slum school out west.:)
