So Bowling Green backed out of playing Blackman and replaced them with McCallie. McCallie beat them tonight ending their tainted streak.
I've seen him flick the ball 60 yards while rolling to his left. I'd love to see this kid run this offense. He can get out of the pocket and run, or dump to the TE, or keep it on the read, or qb draw, or play action and chunk it up Malone, North or Preston W. Safeties would have to come up. I'm still waiting on a mobile qb and have been for years and we won't win again until we have one. Period. Been saying that for too many years now.
He is improving but he is way behind QD and Kendall. I think we should use JJ in the wildcat or use him like UF used Harvin.

How in the world would you know that? ....pray tell. Been to every game of theirs, have you? It's comical to listen to Internet experts, like yourself, not simply giving their opinion...but speaking matter-of-factly concerning things that you really have no clue about.
Nobody here....and I mean NOBODY...has a clue as to whether Dormady will be any better than Jennings, or even Gibson if we landed him.
It's all speculation and conjecture....so stop it with all the dogmatic claims as if you are privy to inside information. Because you are not.
We all cheered Blair committing last year and assumed he would be penciled in as the starting LT. He's not even 2nd team right now. That's a very good example of not only do the fans have scant info to base our evaluations on, but often times, even the coaches themselves don't know these things until the player is on the roster and going through practice.
So, stop pretending you know more than even the coaches do...cause you don't.
I never claimed to know more than the coaches do. I am basing my opinion on stats and where each guy plays at. Blackman is just not on the same level as Texas HS football. I used to think where a guy plays and what competition he plays against didn't matter. I have since come to see the error of my ways. I personally don't care if my opinion doesn't agree with yours. I could be proven wrong and if that's the case I will gladly eat crow. But with QD and Kendall coming in, I don't see JJ ever becoming a starting QB at UT. That's not a knock on JJ but a testament to the quality of talent CBJ is bringing in.
However a guy with JJ skill set, he could be used at different positions and would excel.

QD also plays at a school that doesn't have a large enough team for spring football. It's not like he's playing the 6A elite programs in Texas.I never claimed to know more than the coaches do.
