Probably a little of both. The old line wasn't great at run blocking, but our RB's didn't help either. I root for all Vols, but Tauren Poole made the wrong cuts or couldn't break a tackle. Neal was a little better. I think a sophomore Jalen Hurd with last year's line would be ideal. But, life is all about timing.

You don't realize it's been a decade since we were actually relevant. Being better than the last 10 years isn't saying THAT much really

What was the average last year and the year before though? Just out of curiosity

It hasn't been a decade... We were doing just fine 2004 up to 2008, and if you're talking about just running the ball then we were good until 2010.

Backing into an sec championship game is not and should not be considered just fine for our program. We had no business being there. Complete luck. I want to be mad about 3-4 losses again :(

This is true. But I'm so sick and tired of waiting for next year. I knew this year would probably be rough when it comes to wins and losses but every year when we care 0-0 I have a feeling deep down inside that maybe just maybe we get all the breaks, no major injuries, and ride over performing players everywhere to a top 10 ranking. I'm sure others are as crazy or stupid or whatever as me lol

People may be tired of hearing it but we have Dooley to thank for the OL problems. That is not an excuse, it's just fact. CBJ is building depth on the OL, but because of Fooley it's gonna take time. No team in FBS is going through what we are. I am tired of waiting too but when you have to rebuild a line and depth, you just have to be patient.

I expect the O line to come out and have its way with UGA, coming off the bye.

I think Hurd will go for 150 and lane add another 60-70.hopefully get Scott in the game. If he does get in expect something like 3 carries 27 yards and one reception for 35 yards on a screen.

Agreed it just sucks. Especially because it looks like everything else is going to be in place. Going against our dline of the future will no doubt help develop these guys though. We will have a MONSTER dline in no time.

Holy Jesus..where do you even come up with stuff like this? Our offensive line is beyond pathetic..I don't have the slightest clue what makes anybody think they're all of a sudden gonna "have their way" with ANYBODY..much less UGA.

If you can't control the line of scrimmage in this league, you don't win. Simple as that.
