To Protect and to Serve...

The state cannot and will not save you. The state is in fact an enemy of your freedom.

I understand how these things work, I used to feel the same way all of you do. These are hard emotional issues we as a people need to face. Shall we have liberty or tyranny? And don't insult me by saying that if we can't do dope we're under tyranny. You all are informed, you see where this government is going.
Look at your paycheck every week, how much good could you do with those stolen tax dollars?
Don't worry though, there are plenty of people that can use that money as well as the ebt card that we're all paying for.

Where and when does it end fellas?

Yeah let's change the law based on a really ****ed up isolated incident.

Incidents happen daily. Maybe not to this extent, but they happen daily. I believe, even after many, many years that mj should not be illegal... but, I'll not concede on many others, if any.

Isolated dink?

Com on man. The crap twists your brain. You can be a functioning alcoholic or pot head. You can't be a functioning meth head. It doesn't work.

I actually know a lawyer who uses and has done so since his 2nd year in law school. I also know a coke head contractor.

I'm not gonna go that rout, but some folks have a remarkable amount of will.

More of those isolated incidences?

You like those on your end of the argument, but discredit them on my end.

Either decide they are of value (isolated incidences) or not dink.

Except I'm not using those examples to form an argument for/against legalization. I used them to deter your notion that everyone using is tweaked out.

Nice try.

My argument for decriminalization is to combat the stupid prison population we have as well as smaller government.

How many do you know that are spun out?

None. I don't surround myself with weak individuals.

EDIT: I have known folks who are now dead from overdose of pharmies (opiates) and heroin (same thing). Better 6 feet under than adding to our prison population which, in case I haven't stressed this enough, is the largest in the world by a HUGE margin.

You and I both know what you tried. It didn't work.

My argument isn't based on those incidences. It's based on real life. I've lost loved ones. I've lost friends. A very good friend is in prison right now (got 9 months)
I pray it helps him. He's a good man and a good father. But when he smokes that ****, he forgets all about his responsibilities.
