If we lose Richmond, I'll be just about all for ceasing any further recruiting activity in Memphis. The best players there almost always leave the state and the few players we do get end up busts.

With as much talent as the Nashville area has been generating, we don't need Memphis anyway. It's pretty telling that Jones has signed only two in-state players west of Clarksville in his entire tenure thus far (one of which has already left the team and was really just an inherited Dooley recruit).

Sorry but this post is a little ridiculous. If he is the recruiter we think he is? Butch has proven beyond a shadow of a doubt he can recruit at an elite level. Missing on Richmond will not change that fact. No coach gets every recruit they need.
