Rick Perry Indicted

Blago is in jail and you want to complain about Republicans?

Blago is old news. He was convicted as he should have been.

The latest scandals involve Cuomo and McDonnell who I think both are guilty.

I think the indictment of Perry is nothing more than politics at its worse. I do think Perry use his power as governor to punish the lady by vetoing the bill. I also think he had the legal standing to do so.

Wake up and take a good look around there are more corrupt politicians on both sides of the aisle than not.

You're right gramps, and it goes all the way to the very top.

It's ok gramps, those that lean left feel that way sometimes.

This is some serious LG type stuff here. Y'all ***** about him deflecting everything about Obama and pinning it on Bush and yet here you are deflecting off of Perry and bringing up democrats.

No deflection from me. This would stink regardless of party affiliation.

It appears McDonnell like to take bribes. If that is a little too blunt for you. He likes to accept nice things from people then use his governorship to repay them.

Umm, might want to check the spelling on your post I quoted...

1. Cuomo is guilty

2 McDonnell is quilty

3. Perry did not break the law.

4. Christi did not break the law

Which ones of the above am I wrong about.

I would say the first two for sure. Neither have been convicted.

No3 you are correct.

No4, still up in the air.

There are many guilty people that have not been convicted.

Actually #3 and 4 are still up in the air. I do not think either one broke the law.

Five Things to Know About Perry Indictment | The Texas Tribune

A Republican is the special prosecutor that is prosecuting Perry.

One year ago a Republican judge from Bexar County, Bert Richardson, appointed a special prosecutor, Michael McCrum, to handle the prosecution.

McCrum, a criminal defense attorney in San Antonio, is a former Dallas police officer who began his career as a federal prosecutor during the George H.W. Bush administration, according to his online bio. In 2009, the state's two Republican U.S. senators, John Cornyn and Kay Bailey Hutchison, recommended him to become U.S. attorney for the Western District

I hope some intelligent judge quickly dismisses this case which is a stretch from any angle. These politically motivated cases waste a lot of money.

What is this based on? The presumption of innocence or do you have insider knowledge?

Is public official coercion not a crime that should be investigated?

It's not coercion when its all out in the open. It's just political tactics.
