Let me make sure I understand you correctly. Young couples get married, buy a home or rent in an area near their work. These young couples have lots of sex which produces children to send to the school in the district the couples live in. It is the sex that creates teaching jobs.

If you want to boil it down then yes.

What's up with these darlings of the Republican Party Governors.
Bob McDonnell charged with corruption,
Rick Perry indicted by a grand jury for abuse of power.

I thought the libs were the crooks.

So I take it you are cool with drunk felons being DAs? This case is so weak

No I just asked a simple question. Why are we having so many corrupt republican governors?

I was being a little bias. If you notice I did not mention my man Christi and the little weak arse scandal he has been involved in.

I assume you are referencing the former Gov of VA in your nonsense. If so you need to do some reading, he is a victim of a witch hunt and is being persecuted. Not prosecuted.

Yeah that is the one. From what I have read the man giving him all the gifts is testifying against him. I think the guy is guilty. McDonnell likes nice things and would do political favors for nice things. He got caught with his hand in the cookie jar. Some would call that accepting bribes.

The guy testifying against him was screwing the gov's wife and giving her money. He's also been indicted on other charges not associated with the gov but cut an immunity deal to testify.

The wife should have been paying him.

Government doesn't create the jobs, sure.

But it does create the environment to bring jobs in.

Yeah I don't know what's so hard to understand about this - the government can enact policies that encourage business development and job growth, thwart it or are basically neutral.

Clearly, Texas (between Perry and the legislature) has created an atmosphere that is friendly to business growth and as a result has the best job growth in the country.

There is no contradiction there.

The complaint about government "creating" jobs is when someone claims the policy itself can substitute for the right conditions and the jobs are created directly by the policy.

Jobs are created when policy ALLOWS the MARKET to operate more freely and INCENTIVIZES rather than PUNISHES business formation, growth.

I bet if you did a Google search you'd find a similar list of Democratic governors.

Cuomo is in a mess right now very similar to this though it appears he actually coerced commissioners on an anti-corruption program to support him.

Remember Rod Blagojevich (IL) - Hell, IL put 4 governors in jail!

How about Don Siegleman (AL)

Roger Wilson (Missouri) indicted for alleged campaign contribution violations

Eliot Spitzer (NY)

bham, as I said earlier in the thread, I have been giving this thread a good pot stirring. IMO, most politicians are corrupt regardless of party affiliation.

Trying to avoid the quesrion by throwing Cuomo out there is weak sauce. Most everyone will agree that Cuomo is scum. He is as guilty as McDonnell is from what I have read. This Perry and Christi crap is nothing more than political witch hunts, imo.

Blago is in jail and you want to complain about Republicans?

This is some serious LG type stuff here. Y'all ***** about him deflecting everything about Obama and pinning it on Bush and yet here you are deflecting off of Perry and bringing up democrats.
