I will be surprised if Jarnell Stokes ever claims UT as his college, of all of the players he took the chants to heart the most about his coach.

Well spoken young man really seems happy to be a Vol. Being in a good environment and your happy you will work hard to accomplish your goals. I agree with the person who said he has personality Tariq's personality seems to come out naturally. Go Vols

Would love to have those two but doesn't matter if we don't get any five stars as long as we get more solid classes. It's the reason we pretty much had a starting five and very little bench.

That's not what I have said.....me and BTO have had this conversation several times. I have said for me to be happy with our coach.....he has to consistently have top 20-25 recruiting classes, consistently get top 100 players, and consistently be a tournament. That doesn't mean every class has to be top 20, every player top 100 and every single season has to be a tournament yr. If a coach appears to be building us into a solid program I will be very happy. BTO is still hung up on what he perceived as undeserved slights towards the previous coach.

So far it looks like CDT knows what he is doing. His approach to recruiting seems much better but it only matters what he is able to land.....we will definitely know if he is the coach for us by his 3rd recruiting class. Hopefully he gets it done or it will be time to start the search process again.

Agree. He can't settle for lower rated players starting in the next class. He said he was going to recruit top players, and I have no reason to doubt him(yet)

I always say he needs to consistently get a top 20 class....if this class isn't top 20, I will say that he needs to keep improving and consistently get top 20 classes. Martins last recruiting class finished lower than CDT's class on 247....that is pitiful and none of the classes were above middle of the pack In the sec.....not exactly the best recruiting conference.

Consistently top 20.....he never ever had a top 20 class. I would have quit complaining when he finally got a few strong classes.

If he had the exact same records but was recruiting like Butch Jones....u wouldn't have heard a negative word about Zo from me.

it is obvious CM hates recruiting. He would take whoever said yes. Cal will discover this soon enough. Hoping DT has a differ approach

Lmao, it's pretty humorous watching how your standards have changed. Tomorrow when I'm bored I'll find a few of your old posts about expectations in regards to recruiting, acting as if 1/4 top 20 classes was ok with you is asinine.
