Had some fans sit next to me at the SEC basketball tourney, when I was there to watch us play in the semi finals. They came to see Kentucky play, and the woman started spouting off that they wanted Tennessee to win, so that it would be an easier matchup for them. I almost lost it, but kept my cool and told her let's talk a little football. Before she could get her response out, I said, "let me guess… You are not a Kentucky football fan, are you?" Her response… Oh no, we are Michigan football fans. I laughed at her and told her if she can't support her university for all athletic programs, then don't come at me talking trash. Not much was said after that.

Yeah...even sillier would be the fact that they don't realize Kahlil could be dominant as a 4-3 DT or a 3-4 NT.

well that's a no brainer.. Give me KM all day baby. I never said RP was better in my post. I am happy about RP of course but we have plenty of OL and KM seems like a beast and would help us more without question. That is just common sense. Also we say we run a 3-4 for recruiting but actually run more of a 4-3 usually and KM would be a stud either way.

I will admit I am no true Heat fan although I pull for them and have for years.. but if they lose life goes on... and yes I like Lebron so I will be pulling for him still, ha. I follow several NBA and NFL teams with no true "team".

I wont take the time to fully explain, but if you look at my post history I always get attacked on living in Nashville when I post but I am a life long Bama fan living here for work. And you guys will love this - my wife is from KY so yes I do pull for UK (unless against Bama). :)

Ok go ahead and keep attacking.. but I had to reply to those 2 posts. I enjoy the site and try to stay out of the way usually.

And he confirms...a true bandwagon fan with some great excuses as to why. My wife is from South Carolina...do you think I pull for them unless they play UT? NO!!! I am a Vol Alum and fanatic for all athletic programs that wear the big orange and white! There is no other university to pull for!

My wife is an alum of aTm. So I have been rooting for them for a while now. Since they are in the West, I still do.

My dream is the SECCG match-up of UT-aTM. Of course Vols crush the Aggies. :)

Happy wife = happy life. Therefore I root for the Cubs when they aren't playing the Cardinals. Luckily my wife doesn't give a crap about the SEC, so I don't have that dilemma.

If my wife was an aTm alum I would probably do the same thing. My wife is a Vandy alum, therefore I don't have that issue. She was warned, before we got married, that the day anything black and gold flew at our house would be the day I filed fo divorce. It has never happened. She knew I wasn't joking.

True, but she doesn't even watch the games, so not a real fan IMO. I watch her team play more than she does.

definite VFL IMO...
my wife has a different Black and Gold,she's from Iowa,but she knows on game day its all Orange and White...either at Neyland or at home... I,along with 3 of my best men,was late for my own wedding waiting on Jeff Hall to kick the game winner against Syracuse... it was her fault for not scheduling enough time lapse in case of extended game time IMO...
but I'll never say that,car trouble is my excuse... :)

if she's lucky,Iowa plays the opposite time of day of UT...
