Now, that UNC has lost their elitist "our academics are superior" trump card, I have no idea what Fedora could pitch to recruits in a head to head battle with Tennessee especially for a recruit from the western part of the state.

Probably a similar pitch to the one UT uses on Memphis kids. Come play for the home state. That's all I can think of though.

How many times has the whole "package deal" thing fell through with a pair of recruits? Seems like they start out wanting to play at the same school, but most of the time, they go to different ones based on their own unique situation.

Its looking like coaches chose Shy Tuttle over Dj Jones. The coaches stopped recruiting Jones hard because of depth. Its pure speculation, but I think thats a good indication he's in bag.

Tuttle hands down. Settle has been unimpressive lately and Jones has fewer years to play than Tuttle.

Coaches chose Tuttle, that may be because you get 4 years with him and they feel really good about the young tackles on campus right now, but the coaches pretty much already made the choice

Tuttle hands down. Settle has been unimpressive lately and Jones has fewer years to play than Tuttle.

Didnt Settle go out to Beaverton and appear to be over weight and play no fire, heart, or passion?

If so then its clear why they stopped.

Jones is most likely one and done coaches can pick up on that maybe they did with jones and thats why tuttle is the one.
