Richmond is close with Charles Mosely, Mckenzie and a lot of last years class. He is part of the large group text between this years guys. The challenge in this recruitment is his mother and the MUS staff. Richmond loves UT. It's not a cut and dry recruitment here.

I don't recall an MUS player signing with UT over the past 30 years. I grew up a couple of miles from their campus.

I don't think she favors anyone in particular, but she isn't totally sold on UT either..

It's going to be an Ole Miss, Bama, UT battle....i think distance is an issue

That goes right along with what the volquest are saying. fortenberry said that for richmond's visit to be successful this weekend that his mother needs to come along.

Richmond scares me. i just feel like he could be our first real heartbreaker under jones (i give him a pass on his first class with lawson since he only had a couple months) just seems like the guys weve felt great about weve landed. I dont count adoree either since we werent even on the table if i recall. just seems like under jones there hasnt been a monumental let down once it gets to decision day, seems like the staff drops enough hints to to the media to keep us from getting heartbroken and we generally have a good idea if we wont be selected. just hope richmond isnt the exception.

I saw him in a few clips of the ol vs. dl. seemed pretty average to my untrained eye but theres no telling. i dont know how good the guys he was facing were because i wasnt familiar with them. just from what i saw though i honestly liked hyatt, chuma and burrell alot better. but obviously those are all big time elite guys and i feel like i saw alot more clips on them so thats probably part of it. i dont remember hearing much good or bad from any of the scouts on hand so i would guess he might fall a spot or two in the rankings soon seeing as alot of guys around his level were raved about. just my two cents

Prob still has to grow into his body.. Hard to be nimble at that size. Hopefully he gets more fluid with time and training.

Ertel- didn't u go to Clinton? If you're still somewhere close to town we should go to the Clinton/AC game this year.. I wanna see how woods does, and if Clinton can make it more of a game this year.. Lol

Sounds like what I saw/heard. Needs some development but he has time. Hopefully Blair works out so Drew can RS and then take over as a RS Fr

From what I've seen Butch looks for a moldable foundation. Strength and conditioning program will make Richmond what we need very quickly.

theres two clips of him at 1:05 here and he seems sluggish compared to the other tackles. side note: the big white kid Andre James looks solid. know nothing about him but would be nice if we were in on him

in this clip he gets a few reps against byron cowart and again looks slow but cowart is a beast so its hard to judge (4:20 on the film)

Sounds good man im still in clinton amd havent went to a game since the two AC games when stone and hazlehurst were seniors and yall twisted westons knee in the first one and he missed gane two. wish he could have played. may have been a different outcome even though clinton had like 4 takeaways in the first game and still only won by a score so theres no telling. those were the two best clinton ac games ive seen.
