Best shotgun I ever used was an old Army Ordnance Department Flaming Bomb stamped Winchester M12. The thing was probably older than Gramps and still patterned eight inches at 25 yards.

I never wanted to steal a military firearm so bad in my life.

The best shotgun I ever used is a Browning 12 gauge automatic. I am not sure of the model. It is a gun my dad bought back in the late 50's early 60's

Probably an Auto-5.

Fine example of craftsmanship. Something to be said about a design that's produced for 90+ years.

Yes, probably an A-5, a classic they still make I believe. I like Berettas personally-A400. Browning designs are timeless though. I also have a Colt 1911.

Stopped production about 15 years ago or so.

Kinda sad really.

I bought the Mossberg 500. I've shot both, but the Mossberg just had a few features the 870 didn't - which tipped the scales just enough.

Seriously what legislation has been passed that wants you to die? There are no death panels that was/is BS rhetoric.

Wake up and smell the coffee gramps. When this pos legislation gets fully implemented your health care will be rationed by a panel of business people. If you think otherwise you just might as well join the LG adoration bandwagon.

Call me crazy, but I just think there's an issue doing a "gun review" when the person doing the review doesn't own either and furthermore, doesn't fire a single shot during the so called review.

Septic, either one you'll be fine with. But my suggestion is to go to your local range that rents guns and shoot a box of ammo through both. The only way you can make a good informed decision to to get trigger time on both and figure out which one works better for you.

Excellent idea. A shotgun either fits our it doesn't. I picked up my dad's Benelli and shot it like a pro. That particular gun just fits me.

Private health insurance have been rationing heath care for years. If you do not realize that you have been living in fantasy land.

The difference is the word private. They can still be (and were) sued. HMO's were the first to try this and they nearly went out of existence. After full ACA implementation, the government will be telling the "insurance companies" what they can and can't do. No legal recourse there. But you go on defending the destruction of 1/6th of our economy cause we know the closet is cracked. We can see you peepping out.

I am not peeping out. I have made it clear from day one of the healthcare debate I am 100% in favor of healthcare reform. The ACA has some good provisions in the law but the bad out weights the good. As i have stated several times the morons in DC need to sit down and repair the ACA

Yes the private heath insurance companies can be sued, however their lawyers have written the language in the polices that covers their azz in terms of rationing coverage and for dropping policyowners when they become sick. The private health insurance companies like most other businesses base their policies on one thing, the bottom line. They refuse to pay for treatment and the insured dies, the insurance company wins, they no longer have to pay any claims. Now who actually is running death panels? It is sad to say but the best heath insurance one can have in the USA is Medicaid. I would be thrilled if I could purchase insurance that provides the same coverage as Medicaid.

Can I pick it up at Dicks, Bass Pro or Wallyworld? $12 shipping for a box seems high.

Maybe, I'm not sure. The Flightcontrol stuff is awesome though. Patterns great for a HD shotgun.

Shoot, browse around the site, I guarantee you will find something else you like lol I'm not affiliated with them in any way, just find they have the cheapest prices of anyone.

You can't repair a piece of crap like the ACA. The government needs to get our of health care all together as they do almost everything else.

It can be repaired, the problem is the White House, Senate and House are all too stubborn to sit down and work it out. This is the worse group that has been in DC in modern history.

Liberals idea of compromise is to agree with them. So, if we pass a piece of crap and the American public hates our piece of crap then you need to sit down with us so it looks like we compromised to make our piece of crap better. S**t in equal s**t out.

The bold is true today. Same thing can be said about the Repubs. The rest of you post is BS. We would have single payer passed instead of the mess we have now if the dems had not compromised with Charles Grassley and crew.

It can't be repaired. Instead of reforming by allowing more competition in all markets, the government attempts to create an insurance monopoly. Possibly the worst piece of legislation, at least in my lifetime.

Are far as gun ownership is concerned, there certainly many people who should not own a gun. Because they are too violent or because they are mentally unstable, and/or both.
