Stokes is 6' 7 1/2'' in BASKETBALL shoes, 6' 7'' in socks.
He is not 6'8''
Your reply means nothing

Lol. He measured 6'8.5 at the combine. Where exactly are you getting your figures? Lets see a link saying he is 6'6. You have no clue.

Here's a quote from the combine thread...

Jarnell Stokes measured in at 6 foot 7 without shoes, 6.85 with shoes. Body fat 8.2%

Jordan McRae 6 foot 3.75 inches without shoes. Wingspan 7.050. Made 15 of 25 NBA distance 3 pointers

Where do you live that requires a 36 inch phone book?

It's not that hard to leap 36" when you're young . And if you are already blessed at 6'8, that puts you way above the rim? But where's the 'tear down the rim dunks'? I didn't see any. Think about a guy like Spud Webb at 5'6 who had to leap a heck of a lot higher to dunk. What was HIS vertical? Well, to dunk it would have to be 78" at least.

Huh? 78"?

10 foot hoop, arm length of probably 2'6", puts him at 8' standing reach, meaning he would need approximately a 36" vertical to dunk.

You are terrible at math. 78" would be 6'6" which would put his head 2 feet above the rim. Ftr it was a reported 42"

I would say the 36" is right, standing reach was probably closer to 7'8 have to factor in ear to top of the head takes away some arm length. That would leave him 28" away, need to clear the rim 8 inches. Riddles...lol* I had around 35" and at 5'11 could dunk fairly easy, I also have some freakishly long arms though.

We're talking about 10' rims, not 8'.

He finished with 10 points, 5 boards and one steal. I don't know how much he played.

Fouled out in 20 minutes?

@patrickbrownTFP: Jarnell Stokes had 10 points and five rebounds (and six fouls) in 20 minutes for the Grizzlies in his NBA Summer League debut.
